Challenges Choose this option to select from the list of available challenges. These challenges vary in difficulty and will test your ability to build, manage and earn a profit. In each challenge you will need to try to achieve specific accomplishments in a given period of time. When you highlight a challenge from the list on the right, the description of the challenge will appear in the window at the bottom of the screen. GETTING STARTED
When you begin the game, you will find yourself looking at a large 3D landscape. The flat, gray area in the middle of the landscape is where you will build your mall. In some challenges, you will begin with an existing mall in this area that you need to maintain or improve. In other challenges, and in the Sandbox mode, you will begin with nothing more than some starting money and your imagination. You will begin building your mall by laying down floors and walls. You will then fill these walls with stores and a variety of other objects. Stores and objects can only be placed/constructed on an area that has flooring on it. You can expand your mall by adding more flooring and additional levels. Keep in mind that your customers will need to be able to get to the stores if they are going to be able to shop. Be sure to leave clear walkways and place stairs, escalators, and elevators where they can be easily accessed. Your customers will arrive at your mall from the parking lot, train station and bus stop. You will want to keep that in mind when placing entrances to your mall. The faster people get into the mall, the faster they will start spending their money. Building your mall is just the beginning. If you are going to be successful, you will need to hire and manage your staff, plan your advertising campaign, adjust store rents and much, much more. Good luck! 6
