2013 Spring Training: 1-0, 5.63 - ND in GS 3/6 vs. MIL (3.0 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 3 K, 2 HR)...worked 3.0 IP 2/28 @SF in relief (2H, 2 ER, 3 K, HR)...recorded the win in ST debut, tossing 2.0 ShO IP (2.0,2,0,0,0,1) on 2/23 at SD. Went 11-11 with a 4.43 ERA (75, ER, 152.1 IP) in 26 starts with Seattle in 2012...also made 6 starts with AAA-Tacoma, June 13-July-17, going 4-0 with a 2.61 ERA (11 ER, 38.0 IP) in 6 starts with the Rainiers. Posted career-highs in nearly every pitching category, including wins (11), starts (26), innings pitched (152.1) and strikeouts (67). In 16 starts went 8-4 with a 2.65 ERA (28 ER, 95.0 IP) to rank first in club history in starter ERA by a rookie (2nd, F. Hernandez, 2.67 in 2005)...in 14 relief appearances posted a 1-1 record with 2 saves and 4.75 (16 ER, 30.1) ERA...ranked 2nd on team with a 3.16 ERA. Amongst AL pitchers with at least 100.0 IP, ranked 7th with a 3.16 ERA (44 ER, 125.1 IP)...ranked 3rd amongst AL starters (min. 15 GS) with a 2.65 ERA (28 ER, 95.0 IP) in 16 starts.
