RM100 SCHOOL AIDS

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE? All students are eligible for a RM100 school aid regardless of family background to help reduce the burden of parents in preparing children for school admission All students in Year One to Year Five, and from Form One to Form Four of the 2011 school session. Year One and Form One school session in 2012, the payment of RM100 aid to be paid in January next year to ensure students have enrolled in their schools.

HOW TO CLAIM? RM100 aid money will go to their school account immediately and then distributed in cash to the parent, guardian or pupil.

1MALAYSIA BOOK VOUCHER (BB1M)


INTRODUCTION The purpose of this guideline is to describe the process of printing, receipt and payment vouchers and RM200 as announced by the Honorable Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Malaysia during the presentation of Budget 2012 on October 7, 2011 in Parliament. Government proposes an allocation of RM260 million is to implement the initiative grants totaling RM200 book vouchers. This initiative is expected to benefit 1.3 million students.

OBJECTIVES This initiative is designed to ease the burden of education expenses of purchasing books. In addition, this initiative is expected to foster interest in reading among the people of Malaysia.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Students who are eligible to receive assistance vouchers 1Malaysia Book (BB1M) is composed of: a) Citizens of Malaysia; b) Fresh SPM or its equivalent, who is pursuing studies in matriculation center / Form 6 /

Polytechnic / institutions of higher learning in the field of diploma, advanced diploma, bachelor, master and doctor of philosophy; c) While further study and active status in the center of matriculation / Form 6 / higher education institutions in January 2012; d) A student who is pursuing a full-time and part-time; e) Students who are studying under the cooperation program and register under the subsidiary institutions; f) Recovery of the institutions under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education or recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency; g) Students in Teacher Education Institutions (IPG) under the program Bachelor of Teaching (PISMP) are not eligible for these vouchers for their book allowance of RM600 and h) Students who are pursuing the field of Postgraduate Teaching Course (trains) are not eligible for this assistance because the trainer trains is pre-service training (given allowances).

IMPLEMENTATION PERIOD This initiative is a one-off for the session beginning in 2012 only. Voucher is valid for 3 months used only, ie January 1 to March 31, 2012.

RATE BB1M Each student is eligible to receive vouchers in the form of book vouchers worth RM200 RM50 by 4 pieces.

PROCEDURE FOR USE OF VOUCHERS a) Vouchers will be printed by the Print Nasional Malaysia Berhad (printers) and then distribute to all agencies / institutions; b) This voucher is for the purchase of books - academic books, journals, magazines, scientific and educational equipment based on their learning needs; c) Students can use this voucher at any participating bookstores implementation of this initiative. Students must fill in name and identity card vouchers. Students are required to show identification cards when using this voucher;

d) If the purchase amount is less than RM200, students are allowed to purchase educational equipment such as notebook and stationery. The remaining vouchers are exhausted not considered to have expired and can not be claimed; e) If the purchase amount exceeds RM200, students must pay their own and may not make additional claims to the Government; f) received book vouchers can not be converted into cash; g) The voucher is valid for 3 months; h) Claim for refund vouchers will be made by the bookstore directly to the National Savings Bank (BSN). Claims can only be made until 30 April 2012;

RM500 SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS

* Households with monthly income of RM3, 000 and below * A household is eligible to refer to a man or woman who is the head of the same household or family head includes a married individual, including children who marry and live with their parents. * Head to the members who live together or head of the family also includes single parents with dependents * The individual (single, widowers, single parents) with dependents and single elderly herself. * Head of household self-employed are also eligible to apply,

WHEN DATE OF REGISTERATION AND APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE FORM RM500? Assistance application form RM500 and RM500 Help is available and applied on 10 December 2011. The period of registration application is RM500 cash assistance for one month.

WHERE FORM CAN BE FOUND?

Registration forms for Assistance form available free of charge RM500 from the date the Federal Development Department, Branch and Service Center of the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) as

well as government agencies.

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE FORM RM500? Completed forms together with copies of identity cards should be handed over to the registration process at the federal or state Development Department, selected schools and branch offices to the IRB.

WHEN THE RM500 HELP DATES? Assistance payments of RM500 will be made to the eligible household heads from mid January 2012.

HOW SIMPLE THE PROCEDURE OR TO SEEK ASSISTANCE OF RM500 HOUSEHOLD ARE AS FOLLOWS: 1. Get the form of household assistance ( deal directly with the IRB office) beginning December 10, 2011. 2. Fill in the form and send it to the nearest IRB office. 3. Wait for your answer to whether the application is successful or not. 4. Household assistance money will be credited through selected banks from January 2012 if successful.
