Learning Outcomes : By the end of the lessons, pupils should be able to:1. Listen to and repeat accurately the correct pronunciations of words and the correct intonation and stress in phrases, expressions and sentences. 2. Speak clearly by pronouncing words accurately. 3. Read and understand phrases, sentences, paragraphs and whole texts. 4. Pupils able to fill in the blanks with a correct answer. Guess the topic How do you keep clean? Pupils answer: - Every day, I take a bath - Every day, I brush my teeth - Every day, I wash my face - Every day, I comb my hair

Teacher gives each pupil a number and call out their number. The pupils whose number is called out must stand up and say how he/she keeps himself/herself clean. Pupils try to answer the question based on their existing knowledge. Teacher introduces the topic.

To introduce the topic of the day. To arouse students interest. To make pupils focus on learning. Induce moral value: Cleanliness

Presentation 15 minutes

Jigsaw Puzzle and Words scramble

Teacher divide pupil to different groups. Teacher will give an envelope contain the jigsaw cut and words scramble. Teacher requires each group to complete the task given in time. Task is:Each group that received jigsaw cut need to complete the jigsaw puzzle. While the other group must rearrange back the words to make a complete sentences. Teacher asks to paste it in a piece of paper after that.

Teachers want the entire group to present one by one the task given.

In pairs, pupils read the text. Teacher asks pupils to identify the words in simple present tense.

Teacher distributes a worksheet to pupils. Teacher show pupils how to complete the exercise. Pupils complete the exercise. Teacher discusses the answer with the pupils.

Teacher recaps the lesson. Teacher asks: How do you keep clean every day? Pupils answer: By take a bath, brush our teeth, comb our hair and put on clean clothes.
