approval Monday. Large trucks often utilize a device that saves wear on brakes by releasing engine compression. This creates a level of noise, at points where trucks slow down entering the village, which has long been a source of resident complaints. The board authorized the county road commission to apply three brine treatments to unpaved roads in the township, for dust control, at a cost of $44-to-46 thousand. Matching funds will cover around $14,000 of this. These arrangements are similar to those in previous years.
