Otherwise, make a Mind check. If you succeeded, youre hardened (check the next empty box) in that type of stress. If you fail, check the next empty failed box in that type of stress, and then freak out (flee, fight, or freeze).
Best Damage Determined by the roll to hit Minor (hand-to-hand): Add the dice together. A zero counts as 10. E.g., a roll of 30 equals 13 wound points (3+10) Significant (firearms): Equals the roll to hit, up to weapons maximum.
