A Day in the life of Chef Matt Del Icious.
Matt Del Icious is a forty-three year old chef who lives in Cardiff, Wales. He
works at an elegant, Italian restaurant in the city centre. The name of the
restaurant is Piccolini and their specialty is Italian Cooking, of course.
They cook pizza, pasta, meat, fish and delicious Italian desserts, like
tiramisu or pannacotta. He is married and has two children; a son, Matt and
a daughter Ellie. His son is twelve years old and his daughter is just two.
They love eating his meals but he doesnt usually cook at home, because he
starts work at half past ten in the morning and finishes at half past eleven in
the evening so he isnt normally at home. His wife Andrea works as a lawyer
for a big company and finishes work at half past one in the afternoon. My
life is quite stressing, he says. In the morning I wake the kids, make
breakfast and then I take them to school. Then I go to buy groceries, meat
or fish at the local market before going to work. At the restaurant we all
work very hard and when I get home Im completely exhausted. In his free
time he likes watching old movies, jogging and playing computer games
with Matt Jr. But he doesnt like cooking after a game, so they always go out
for dinner when he is free.
