Coral rose brooch & earrings by Eleven

Materials:
Fingering/4-ply cotton thread; 1,75 mm /00 2,00 mm/0 hook; Plastic pearls; Earwires; Brooch pin.

Brooch:
Part 1: Ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring. Round 1: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, work 13 more dc in ring, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Round 2: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, *3 dc in the next st*. Repeat * to * for whole round, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Fasten off. Weave in ends. Part 2: Ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring. Round 1: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, work 13 more dc in ring, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Round 2: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, *2 dc in the next st*. Repeat * to * for whole round, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Round 3: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, *3 dc in the next st*. Repeat * to * for whole round, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Fasten off. Weave in ends. Part 3: Ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring. Round 1: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, work 13 more dc in ring, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Round 2: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, *2 dc in the next st*. Repeat * to * for whole round, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Round 3: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, *3 dc in the next st*. Repeat * to * for whole round, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Sew all three parts together in the middle. Sew little plastic pearls in the middle of the coral rose brooch. Attach work to brooch pin.

Earrings:

Part 2: Ch 5, join with a sl st to form ring. Round 1: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, work 13 more dc in ring, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Round 2: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, *2 dc in the next st*. Repeat * to * for whole round, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Round 3: Ch 3 to count as the first dc, *3 dc in the next st*. Repeat * to * for whole round, join with a sl st to the top of the beginning ch 3. Fasten off. Weave in ends. Sew both parts together in the middle. Sew little plastic pearls in the middle of the coral rose. Attach work to earwires.

The blue roses are made using larger pearl. One layer (part 2) is used in earrings.
