WARS AND REVOLUTIONS o Our Lord revealed during an ecstacy: * To dispel all fear and terror, you will touch your forehead with a holy picture or a medal of Mary Immaculate. Your spirit will remain calm. Your heart will not fear the approach of the terror of men. Your spirit will not experience the effects of My Great Justice. 7. UNKNOWN DISEASES (Given during an ecstacy) o A medal of My Divine Heart, a medal upon which is traced the Adorable Cross. You will steep into a glass of water the two images -- be it made of cardboard or metal. You will drink this water that is twice blessed and twice purified. The Three Days have been announced by many mystics such as Bl. Anna-Maria Taigi, Elizabeth Canori-Mora, RosaColomba Asdente, Palma d'Oria, in Italy; Father Nectou, in Belgium; St. Hildegard, in Germany; Pere Lamy, Marie Baourdi, Marie Martel, Marie-Julie Jahenny, in France. Revolutions, downfall of governments, dissensions, wars, confusion in high places, lack of respect for authority, treachery, corruption, brutalities, atrocities. Breakdown of family life, immorality, adultery, infidelity, promiscuity, perversion and violence of youth, disobedience, lack of values, indecent nakedness of dress, countless sins and iniquities, people concerned only with eating, drinking, dancing, and pleasures. We are experiencing these things now. Just glance at the daily newspapers to see clearly the above impending signs. THE IMMEDIATE SIGNS The night will be BITTERLY COLD, the wind will howl and roar, then will come lightning, thunderbolts, earthquakes, the stars and heavenly bodies will be disturbed and restless. There will be NO light, but TOTAL BLACKNESS, utter dark will envelop the entire earth. This will come suddenly like a flash! NOT A SINGLE DEMON WILL BE LEFT IN HELL. Hell will be emptied and EVERY evil spirit will be released to roam over the earth and do all possible harm to souls. God's wrath will be poured out upon the whole world, the "chastisement" will be terrible, SUCH AS NEVER BEFORE, and will afflict the ENTIRE EARTH. WHAT TO DO FOR PROTECTION DURING THE THREE DAYS As soon as you perceive the disturbed signs of the very cold night: Go inside, shut and lock all doors and windows, pull down the shades, keep the doors and windows well

The wrath of God is holy and He does not want us to see it. Be sure to keep a supply of blessed wax candles in your homes -- also Holy Water to be sprinkled freely around the house, especially at doors and windows. Bless yourself and others with it. Drink it and anoint your "senses" with it (eyes, ears, nose, mouth) and hands, feet, and forehead. for in the merciful plan of God, this world must be purified of its sin. It is predicted that these THREE DAYS OF DARKNESS will come and NO ONE WILL ESCAPE THE TERROR OF THESE DAYS! "I WILL FIND THEM ALL." -- This is Christ speaking. THE AFTERMATH After the three days of chastisement are over, there will be no UNGODLY PERSONS left, the godless will be annihilated. Seventy-five percent of humanity will be destroyed, more men than women. Everyone left on earth will believe in God with all their hearts. The devastation will be astonishingly great, but the earth will be purified. The spiritual fervor of the early Christians will return, but there will be so few men left on earth. When all seems lost, then in a twinkling, all will be saved, the sun will shine again and it will be as springtime, all fair and beautiful. The Holy Angels will descend from Heaven and spread the spirit of peace over the earth, and the just will be able to start life anew. Some nations will disappear entirely, and the face of the earth will be changed. There will be NO MORE BIG BUSINESS, huge factories and assembly lines which sap men's souls and moralities. People will return to the land. Our Holy Church will rise again, and religious communities will flower. Holy Mother Church gives us a choice of many devotions and a great treasury of indulgences. She tells us that we should value indulgences highly and we should gain as many as possible for ourselves and others. Be enrolled in and constantly wear the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, which is "Our Lady's Livery." Every day recite the commutation prayers of seven times Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be, to gain the Sabbatine Privilege (rescue from purgatory the Saturday following your death). Be enrolled in and wear the Miraculous Medal of Our Lady, which bestows such great graces. Remember her words when She sadly said: "Many people do not receive graces because they do not ask for them." The Miraculous Medal Prayer O Mary, Conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. It is well also to wear the Saint Benedict Medal, which is the highest indulgenced Medal of the Church. Learn and recite the prayers against Satan, which are engraved on the Medal. We should cultivate such devotion to Saint Joseph. It is revealed that wherever the Blessed Virgin is, Saint Joseph is always with Her, because it was given to him to take care of Her. We must always draw nearer to and rely upon the Holy Angels, remembering that they are not only our guardians but also our messengers, ready to do our bidding. There is a chaplet in honor of the Angels, which contains remarkable promises for those who recite it. We are urged to make MANY MORE VISITS TO THE BLESSED SACRAMENT, and to make Holy Hours. If we cannot go to a Church for these things, then we should send our Angel to attend Holy Mass for us, to visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, to attend to our prayers. We should make VERY MANY SPIRITUAL COMMUNIONS. Our Lord asked Sister Benigna to let not even a quarter of an hour pass without making a Spiritual Communion. SO DESIRABLE THIS IS. The "Storm Novena" is valuable, in that it brings us to the Blessed Sacrament nine times in one day. Another devotion most pleasing to Our Lord is to His Holy Face. He not only wishes us to make reparation for the insults to His Holy Face, but he wants us to behold Him face to face for all eternity. Saint Athanasius relates that the devils on being asked what verse in the Scriptures they feared the most, replied: "That with which the 67th Psalm commences: Let God arise, and let His Enemies be scattered, and let them that hate Him flee from before His face!" They added that this verse always compelled them to take flight.

We should give special attention to Saint Michael, the Archangel, and continue to recite the prayer (by Pope Leo XIII) after each Mass. This holy Pope composed this prayer after his terrifying vision of Satan's power of destruction in these times. Much more devotion should be given to the Holy Spirit. We should be impressed with the importance of the Holy Ghost when we recall that Our Lord said that He must go, in order that the Holy Spirit could come, and "The Holy Spirit will teach you all things that you need to know." We should not forget the Poor Souls in Purgatory. We ask them for favors, and pray for their release. They are very grateful for the prayers received from us and they respond in kind. They remember us when they get to Heaven and intercede for us before God Himself. The Green Scapular continues to bestow many blessings and effect many conversions and returns to Church, with the prayer: "Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death." In Our Lord's revelations to Berthe Petit, He particularly asked devotion to Our Blessed Mother under the title of "Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary." A prayer too much forgotten is the one which Our Lady of Fatima asked to be said when we offer sacrifices: "O Jesus, it is for love of Thee, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary." When Sister Josefa Menendez (called the "second Margaret-Mary") asked Our Lady for a prayer to be said constantly while working, She gave this: "O My Beloved, Who art also My God, make my heart a flame of pure love for Thee!" Very great promises to save countless souls accompany this little prayer which Our Lord taught to Sister M. Consolato Betrone (Capuchin Nun): "JESUS, MARY, I LOVE YOU! SAVE SOULS!" The fifteen prayers of Saint Bridget of Sweden, on the Passion of Our Lord, are most timely, since Our Lady has recently impressed upon us that we "must think more of the Passion of Jesus." In one of Our Blessed Mother's revelations to a stigmatic nun in Italy, she said: "My daughter, the time is not far off. When men least expect it, the course of Divine Justice will be accomplished. "My Heart is so big for poor sinners and I make use of every possible means that they may be saved. Look at My Mantle, how big it is! If I were not bowed over the world, to cover all with My maternal love, the tempest of fire would already have broken upon the nations. "This is the mantle of My Mercy for all those who, have repented, come back to My Immaculate Heart. See. My right hand holds the mantle to cover and save poor sinners, while My left hand holds back Divine Justice so that the time of mercy may still be prolonged.

"To help me in this, I ask that the prayer of 'Maternal Refuge' be spread as a most useful means to obtain graces and salvation for poor sinners." With Arms Crossed, Say Often: "QUEEN OF THE UNIVERSE, MEDIATRIX OF MEN TO GOD, REFUGE OF ALL OUR HOPES! HAVE MERCY ON US!"

The hawthorn is a heart herb in the rose family. It's flowers combined with its deeply lobed, roselike leaves, and brown woody stems is to be used in teas and tinctures to treat the heart. IN ADDITION, THIS CRUCIFIX WILL BE TOUCHED TO A 1st CLASS RELIC OF THE TRUE CROSS: The actual cross that Christ was crucified upon was buried and later found by Helena Augustas, the mother of Constantine. The account of this event appears in writing in the fourth century. Helena found all three crosses. The True Cross of Christ has cured sick people as well as restoring a dead woman to life by its touch. Due to this discovery,

along with her acts of charity, Helena became recognized as a saint. Portions of the relic were distributed for personal use, which helped spread the use of small personal crosses as objects of protection, signs of Christian belief, and devotion. Relic crosses with the True Cross also became part of the use of the cross by the armies of the East and the Crusaders. Relics of the passion, including a piece of the True Cross, were among the relics used in a procession in Paris in 1559 to save the life of King Henri II. He entered into medical history as he lived 9 days after a splinter from a lance pierced his helmet and then his brain while jousting. It is also well known that St. Helena took a piece of the True Cross to a woman afflicated with an incurable disease. She was immediately cured and it was pronounced the True Cross! HISTORY BEHIND THIS SPECIAL CARAVACA CROSS: This is "The Cross of Miracles" according to many! In the year 1232, a miracle occurred in the Spanish town of Caravaca de la Cruz. A missionary priest named Don Gnes Prez Chirinos de Cuenca was captured and taken before the Muslim king who was curious about "the Mass". He wanted him to demonstrate the procedure. He refused at first, but finally agreed. The king arranged for the necessary items: an altar draped with a pall cloth, bread and wine, and some candles. However, a crucifix was missing. The priest explained that the presence of a crucifix was critical to the Mass and he could not continue without one. No sooner had he spoken these words than the chamber was flooded brilliant light and two angels appeared, bearing a 2-armed cross, the Vera Cruz of Caravaca, containing wood from the true cross of Jesus Christ!

News of this Miraculous Crucifix spread and it gained a reputation as a powerful protector and healer in the centuries to come. The miracles didn't stop there: Eventually, the town passed to the Knights Templar who, in the 15th century, built the castle that still dominates the town today. At one time, the Knights Templar and townsfolk were under siege by the Muslim army and took refuge in the castle. It wasn't long before the water stored in the castle became unpotable and several of the refugees became ill. Scouts crept out of the castle at night to look for water but found the neighbouring wells had been poisoned. In desperation, the scouts raced out of the castle on horses to find a safe source of water. They found some wine, loaded the wineskins on their horses and raced back to the castle. The wine was blessed in the presence the Caravaca Cross and served to those who had been debilitated by the bad water. They recovered immediately and the blessed wine was mixed with the toxic water in the storage tanks. The water became fresh and as a result, the Christians were able to resist the enemy! Today, an annual fiesta is held in the town to remember those events, which includes a ceremony to bless the irrigation water used by Caravaca farmers. Because of these miracles and the relic of the True Cross, in 1998 Caravaca de la Cruz became the fifth holy town celebrating the Perpetual Jubilee in the Vera Cruz Sanctuary where the Caravaca Cross is kept. Also of Note: Franciscan monks travelled to the Americas, taking copies of the Caravaca cross with them. This cross is also used by archbishops and patriarchs. This crucifix is still popular in Central and South American churches and monasteries. Houses and business hang this Caravaca Cross on the wall(s). You may also choose to wear it. The Miraculous Medal

The devotion commonly known as that of the Miraculous Medal owes its origin to Zoe Labore, a member of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, known in religion as Sister Catherine, to whom the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared three separate times in the year 1830, at the mother-house of the community at Paris. The first of these apparitions occurred 18 July, the second 27 November, and the third a short time later. On the second occasion, Sister Catherine records that the Blessed Virgin appeared as if standing on a globe, and bearing a globe in her hands. As if from rings set with precious stones dazzling rays of light were emitted from her fingers. These, she said, were symbols of the graces which would be bestowed on all who asked for them. Sister Catherine adds that around the figure appeared an oval frame bearing in golden letters the words "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee"; on the back appeared the letter M, surmounted by a cross, with a crossbar beneath it, and under all the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary, the former surrounded by a crown of thorns, and the latter pierced by a sword. Twelve stars circled this oval frame, symbolizing the 12 Tribes of Israel and the 12 Apostles, and showing Mary as the Mother of Israel. At the second and third of these visions a command was given to have a medal struck after the model revealed, and a promise of great graces was made to those who wear it when blessed. After careful investigation, M. Aladel, the spiritual director of Sister Catherine, obtained the approval of Mgr. de Quelen, Archbishop of Paris, and on 30 June, 1832, the first medals were struck and with their distribution the devotion spread rapidly. One of the most remarkable facts recorded in connection with the Miraculous Medal is the conversion of a Jew, Alphonse Ratisbonne (q.v.) of Strasburg, who had resisted the appeals of a friend to enter the Church. M. Ratisbonne consented, somewhat reluctantly, to wear the medal, and being in Rome, he entered, by chance, the church of Sant' Andrea delle Fratte and beheld in a vision the Blessed Virgin exactly as she is represented on the medal; his conversion speedily followed. This fact has received ecclesiastical sanction, and is recorded in the office of the feast of the Miraculous Medal. In 1847, M. Etienne, superior-general of the Congregation of the Mission, obtained from Pope Pius IX the privilege of establishing in the schools of the Sisters of Charity a confraternity under the title of the Immaculate Conception, with all the indulgences attached to a similar society established for its students at Rome by the Society of Jesus. This confraternity adopted the Miraculous Medal as its badge, and the members, known as the Children of Mary, wear it attached to a blue ribbon. On 23 July, 1894, Pope Leo XIII, after a careful examination of all the facts by the Sacred Congregation of Rites, instituted a feast, with a special Office and Mass, of the Manifestation of the Immaculate Virgin under the title of the Miraculous Medal, to be celebrated yearly on 27 November by the Priests of the Congregation of the Mission, under the rite of a double of the second class. For ordinaries and religious communities who may ask the privilege of celebrating the festival, its rank is to be that of a double major feast. A further decree, dated 7 September, 1894, permits any priest to say the Mass proper to the feast in any chapel attached to a house of the Sisters of Charity. Our Blessed Mother told St. Catherine Labore "Have a medal struck on this model. All who wear it will receive great graces". We highly recommend that those who suffer consider wearing this medal.
