1.0

SCOPE

1.1

This specification stipulates the requirements and conditions for the design, fabrication, guarantee, service, inspection, installation and testing of :
One (1) 1000 barrel oil storage Tank

1.2

Suppliers shall provide additional design and construction considerations and recommendations over and above those specified herein which are required for proper operation of the Package.

2.0

APPLICABLE SPECIFICATIONS, REGULATIONS, CODES & STANDARDS

Specifications

All equipment shall be designed and fabricated in accordance with this specification and the referenced documents.

2.2

Regulations, Codes & Standards

2.3

Conflict Between Specifications, Codes and Standards

2.3.1

Where a conflict occurs between this Specification and any Specification, Regulation, Code or Standard which has been specified for a particular service or item of equipment, then the Owners Representative (Anbas Energy Systems Ltd) shall be consulted and a ruling in writing shall be obtained before any work is started. Where regulatory codes or regulations conflict with this Specification, the more rigid specification shall govern.

Crude oil storage Tank T-2000 One (1) sweet service 1000 Bbl single walled crude oil storage tank, 8 oz./0.5 oz design pressure/vacuum. Nozzle schedule and additional requirements shall be as detailed on the attached data sheet. All instrumentation shall be quoted as listed in the attached Instrument list. Painting per specified herein.

4.0

PACKAGE DETAILS General

4.1 4.1.1

All piping shall conform to ASME B31.3 & reference Codes, Regulations and Specifications. Piping shall be arranged so as to provide for maintenance of the piping, equipment and instrumentation. Piping shall be adequately supported for shipping. All open connections (vessel and piping) shall be blanked off for ocean shipment with greased rubber gaskets and full spec rating blind flanges, fitted with all bolts.
Radiography shall be performed in accordance with API 650 section 6.1. 100% magnetic Particle test on shell to floor external fillet weld; 100% wet visible liquid penetrant test on shell to floor internal fillet weld.

Malleable or ductile iron fittings and valves shall not be used (including all instrumentation).

4.1.5 All process piping, vessels, valves and instrumentation are to be supplied, fabricated and installed in accordance with Sweet Service Specifications.

4.2

4.3

Painting

Painting shall meet tropical environment. The following requirement shall be followed:

Degrease all painted surfaces to SSPC-SP1 and grit blast or hydro blast to a commercial finish per SSPC-SP6 or SA 2.5 Prime, paint and topcoat as follows and in accordance with the paint manufacturers instructions: Prime with Carboline 859 Zinc Epoxy primer to 3 mils DFT Coat with Carboline 890 Epoxy (G245 tan) to 5 mils DFT, using Carboline thinner #2 Topcoat with Carboline 134HG (C705 grey) to 2 mils DFT, using Carboline thinner #25

Only tank externals need to be painted. Tank may not be internally painted. Alternative painting proposals to achieve the same protection may be submitted for consideration.

4.4

Electrical
All electrical work shall be performed by vendor, tank shall be adequately earthed and provision shall be made for anode attachment for tank corrosion protection.

Structural The skid if required shall be designed by Vendor in accordance with the Specifications and be suitable for mounting on a driven pile foundation, or on slab on grade, or concrete piles with footings. The skid shall be designed for four-point lift using a spreader beam. The lifting beam shall be supplied by the vendor, and shall be shipped with the skid, bolted to a bracket or cradle on one side of the skid. Lifting slings and shackles shall be supplied with the lifting beam. These shall be shipped attached to the lifting eyes, with free ends tied-off to the skid.

5.0

REGISTRATION & CERTIFICATION REQUESTS

5.1

Registration Registration is not required; however, tank shall be built per API 12F / 650.

6.0

DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS

Vendor shall submit required document per the list in the data sheet attached.

7.0

SHIPPING PREPARATION Shipping preparation shall be as per vendor standard and comply with sound engineering practice in the oil and gas transportation industry.
