Superior Federal Credit Union is a non-
profit financial cooperative owned by its
members. Membership eligibility is open to
anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends
school in Allen, Auglaize, Hardin, Mercer,
Putnam, and Van Wert counties. Unlike prof-
it-driven banks and finance companies, a
credit unions excess earnings are returned
to members in the form of friendly service,
low interest rates on loans, high yield savings
and investment accounts, and low or no fee
convenience services.
Superior had another successful campaign
in 2012. Total membership grew by more than
3,000 members to now serve over 49,000
members in West Central Ohio. Superior
opened for business at its tenth location, in
St. Marys, and opened an independent insur-
ance agency, Superior Insurance Services,
to provide affordable home and auto insur-
ance to the area. Superior also remains one
of the strongest financial institutions in the
U.S. The credit union grew 14% last year to
$425 million in assets. Meanwhile, the credit
unions profitability remains in the top 2%
of credit unions nationally with net income
reaching a record $8 million in 2012. One
important measure of financial strength is
capital. Superior maintains over $63 million
in capital twice the reserve required by the
NCUA, our Federal regulator.
With interest rates remaining at or near
historic-low levels, credit union staff was
busy helping members finance their cars,
homes, or small businesses. This past year,
the credit union made over 7,000 loans for
$250 million to members. Whether it was a
member loan request for a $500.00 note loan
or a $2 million small business loan, the credit
union staff was ready to help members and
provide them a financing solution to meet
their needs. In addition to meeting new bor-
rowing needs, the credit union helped many
members refinance their existing debt and
lower their annual interest costs. These inter-
est savings will be available for members to
save for a childs college education, build a
nest egg for retirement, or spend in the local
community.
In April, Superior members will gain
access to new innovative, state-of-the-art
technology solutions from their credit union.
New electronic services for online banking &
BillPay and mobile banking from Intuit, the
makers of TurboTax and QuickBooks, will be
available free-of-charge for all for Superior
members. The new technology will provide
members with personalized access to the best
electronic services solutions available in the
local market.
Whether it is the local hospital founda-
tions, summer festivals, financial education
days, or county fairs, SFCU believes strongly
in making a difference in the communities
we serve. Last year, Superior supported more
than 300 local causes, donating over $170,000
back to the community. A number of Superior
employees also donate a significant amount
of their time to serve on community boards
dedicated to making our community a better
place to live.
So the next time you are in the market for
a checking account, loan, mortgage, or invest-
ment product, try a financial institution that is
making a difference in financial services and
the community. Try Superior Federal Credit
Union!

North Dixie Truck
and Trailer
SFCU believes
strongly in making
a difference in the
communities we serve.
North Dixie Truck and
Trailer Inc., is a Sub-Chapter
S - Corporation incorporated
under the laws of the State of
Ohio on March 6, 1996. Calvin
E. Roeder purchased 8.4 acres
adjacent to his existing truck-
ing company in order to build
a 14,000-square-foot building
that houses a state-of-the-art
welding and fabrication center.
It was his desire to build a
facility that could repair and/
or rebuild the numerous tank
trailers in his trucking company
fleet. Additionally, other bulk
liquid chemical transporters
similar to the Roeder Cartage
Co., Inc., were contacted and
the services of North Dixie
Truck and Trailer Inc., were
marketed to outside customers
as well.
On July 1, 2006, North Dixie
Truck and Trailer Inc., was
purchased by Calvins daugh-
ters Tammy Orndorff, Tina
Anderson and Teresa Shulaw.
Tina is the president; Tammy,
vice president; and Teresa is
secretary treasurer of the com-
pany and all are responsible for,
direct and oversee all aspects of
the company operations. Each
provides the company with a
well-developed management
background.
The business expanded in
October 2011 by adding a fully-
stocked parts department with
thousands of inventory items
for semi-trucks, van trailers and
tanker trailers. Additionally, we
have access to tires for those on
the National Account Program.
Our parts department and staff
is very knowledgeable and can
locate most parts requested.
Expansion happened again
in August 2011 when we added
on to our maintenance facil-
ity. We added another 24,000
square feet, giving us a total
of 16 maintenance bays, two
Hunter Alignment racks, a
wheel balancing machine and
three 24-hour emergency road
service trucks.
Today, our maintenance staff
provides a full service repair
facility providing quality repair
service and a broad range of
welding services for anyone
in northwest and West Central
Ohio and we offer custom sheet
metal fabrication utilizing mate-
rials made of light-gauge alu-
minum through heavy-gauge
stainless steel plate. For many
successful transportation com-
panies, Dixie Truck is their pre-
ferred provider for tank-trailer
service and repair. That is why
North Dixie remains committed
to proving products and ser-
vices that continually surpass
customer expectations.
We employ one of the most
highly qualified service and
repair staffs in the industry
in order to provide virtually
any service, repair, or testing
required for tank and van trail-
ers. This company is certified
by the National Board of Boiler
and Pressure Vessel and may
perform welding repair opera-
tions on pressure vessels accord-
ing to the American Society
of Mechanical Engineers codes.
The National Board of Boiler
and Pressure Vessel Inspectors
certify North Dixie Truck and
Trailer Inc., are authorized and
use to R symbol in accor-
dance with the provision of the
national board.
North Dixie Truck and
Trailer is a member of the
Lima/Allen County Chamber
of Commerce, National Tank
Truck Carriers Assoc., and the
Ohio Trucking Assoc. They are
also certified as a National
Womens Business Enterprise
(WBE) and a Woman Owned
Small Business (OSB).

service agency that provides behavioral treatment
in a variety of settings: group homes, family foster
care, independent living, an intensive treatment pro-
gram, a non-campus school; and a variety of clinical
services.
We are proud to offer quality services to youth
and families who need them. We are proud to work
with families from around the state of Ohio. Our

our programs.
Marsh is led by Executive Director of Child and
Family Services Kim Mullins; Marsh Foundation
School Principal Roger Salisbury; Executive
Secretary/Treasurer Jeff Grothouse; and Board of
Trustees members Gerald Thatcher, Gary Corcoran
and Robert Gamble.
The Marsh Foundation was established in 1922
by George and Hilinda Marsh and their daughter,
Katie.
Most of their substantial estate was left to help
needy children and families. George Marshs will
detailed the formation and operation of the founda-
tion. Originally, the campus was used as an orphan-
age and since evolved to meet the changing needs of
children and families.

During 2012, Delphos-based K&M Tire continued
its pattern of growth and expansion which included its
entrance into the state of Texas.
The wholesale tire distributor purchased two ware-
houses located in Houston and Dallas, TX, from Reliable
Tire Co. and began operating in the state during the fourth
quarter. Last year, K&M Tire also opened a warehouse
near Kansas City, began construction on a warehouse in
western Minnesota near Fargo, North Dakota, and com-
pleted another addition to the Delphos warehouse adding
approximately 40,000 square feet. The additional space in
Delphos houses their expanding inventory of agricultural
tire offerings, while freeing up space for additional pas-
senger and light truck tires.
With the opening of the Minnesota warehouse this
month, K&M Tire now operates 15 distribution facilities
in 10 states serving customers in over 20 states.
Looking forward to 2013, K&M Tire plans to keep
growing and expanding. The company will be opening a
new warehouse in Oklahoma City and is searching for a
larger warehouse in Dallas, Texas. They will also continue
to look for growth opportunities throughout the Midwest
and South Central regions.
Along with expanding their territory and number of
warehouse, the number of employees also continues
to grow. Company-wide, the employee head count has
grown to over 350 employees. Locally, over 115 people
work at the company headquarters on Spencerville Road.
This includes warehouse workers, route drivers, inside
sales staff, accounts receivable, accounts payable, human
resources, IT, inventory, logistics, marketing, and manage-
ment.
Recently, the company added Kumho tires to its large
product offering. Currently, K&M Tire distributes over 20
brands of passenger and light truck tires, seven brands of
commercial truck tires, and eight brands of farm and util-
ity tires.
Founded in 1970 as a two-bay gas station in 1970, K&M
Tire moved to Delphos in the late 1970s. The company
opened its first warehouse in Toledo in 1990. Currently,
the wholesaler has distribution warehouses in Delphos,
Toledo, Detroit, Mich., Grand Rapids, Mich., Madison,
Wisc., Chicago, Ill., Des Moines, Iow, Minneapolis, Minn.,
Bismarck, N.D., Omaha, Neb., Wichita, Kan., Kansas City,
Kan., Dallas, Texas, Houston, Texas, and Barnesville,
Minn. K&M Tire plans to continue to grow to meet the
demands of the future.

TRUST EXPERIENCE TRUST COTTERMAN
Cotterman &
Company
In the year 2013
Cotterman & Company will
celebrate its 35th anniver-
sary of roofing excellence.
Cotterman & Company
has been a pioneer in the
commercial roofing industry
since 1978. Family-owned
and operated for two genera-
tions, the company installed
and warranted more than
30,000,000 square feet of
roofing.
In the early years, the
company had employed just
a hand full of employees
and serviced the Shelby/
Auglaize County region.
Currently, they have over
75 employees servicing
the entire state of Ohio as
well as eastern Indiana. The
majority of their projects are
located between Findlay,
Dayton, and Columbus cor-
ridor.
The second generation
Andy and Mike Cotterman
acquired full owner-
ship in 2009 from Max R.
Cotterman, their father and
founder. The company has
continued substantial growth
since the transaction. We
continue to operate under the
core principles Max prac-
ticed. I believe this directly
impacts our quality level of
installations, which has lead
to our success in the roofing
industry. In addition to that,
the hard work and dedication
of the individual team mem-
bers culminates, creating a
winning recipe, says Mike
Cotterman.
In 2012 Cotterman &
Company received the most
prestigious recognition
in the commercial roofing
industry. Carlisle Syntec,
the leading manufacturer of
single-ply roofing materi-
als, elected Cotterman to the
Perfection Council. Only the
top 15 contractors in North
America, determined by
historical installation qual-
ity metrics, were given this
recognition. Cotterman also
reached the 750 Perfect 10
Hall of Fame Status with
Carlisle. Out of 2,700 autho-
rized applicators, only 43
have reached this achieve-
ment.
Duro-Last Roofing recog-
nized Cottermans achieve-
ments with the JRB Award,
which is based on volume
and quality of installa-
tions. They also announced
Cotterman installed the most
Duro-Last Roofing material
in the state of Ohio again in
2012.
Looking forward into
this year, we believe the
trend of renovating and ret-
rofitting existing buildings
will continue to grow and
the new construction proj-
ects will remain relatively
moderate similar to 2012.
This enables us to offer cost
effective energy savings
roofing solutions for busi-
nesses looking to remain in
their current facilities, says
Andy Cotterman
Cotterman & Company is
eager to earn the opportunity
on your next roofing project
and add you to the list of
satisfied customers.
Since our inception in 1978,
Cotterman and Company, Inc.
has become an award winning
leader in the Industrial and
Commercial roofing industry
specializing in New
Construction, Reroofs,
Roof Repairs and Roof
Maintenance Programs.

The Van Wert County
Foundation has provid-
ed financial assistance to
Delphos, as well as Van
Wert and Paulding counties
since 1925. That summer,
the buildings at the Marsh
Foundation were soon to be
dedicated. The endowment
caused considerable con-
versation when Mr. Marshs
will was probated. Several
other prominent Van Wert
citizens had died, leaving
estates but no relatives in the
area. As a result, their assets
were distributed to relatives
scattered across the country.
In the summer of 1925,
a conversation took place
between local bankers
Frank Leslie and LaDoyt
Brumback and attorney
Kerns Wright that led to
the foundations formation.
The concept was to provide
means for establishing a liv-
ing bequest or trust so the
income could be used for
constructive programs that
would benefit the commu-
nity forever.
Although the foundation
was established in 1925,
the first bequest was not
received until 1934 and
the first distribution wasnt
granted until 1938. Since
then, many bequests have
been received and the assets
have grown until the princi-
pal assets of the foundation
at the end of 2007 exceeded
$42 million. These funds
came from over 125 donors
and are held and managed
in perpetuity. Each trust is
left to the foundation and
is established as a separate
memorial fund with a name
requested by the donor. The
principal is kept in tact and
only income is used for
grants.
Through 2007, the foun-
dation made grants to vari-
ous organizations totaling
$22,560,801.44. A signifi-
cant part of the grants are
for college scholarships.
In the year 2007 $416,425
in scholarship grants were
made to 280 students.
The foundation is classi-
fied by the IRS as a 501 c
(3) public charity that allows
donors to receive the maxi-
mum income tax credits
allowed by law.
A major initiative was
undertaken by the founda-
tion in 2005. Trustees pro-
vided the legal resources
to establish the governing
entity to manage the new
performing arts facility.
A tax-exempt supporting
organization named the
Van Wert Area Performing
Arts Foundation was cre-
ated and a board of direc-
tors was appointed with
Paul Hoverman as execu-
tive director. The foundation
provided the resources and
guidance for the endeavor
and committed in excess of
$3M for construction and
initial operating costs. The
facility opened in early
2007.
The foundation is admin-
istered by 15 trustees who
serve without compensa-
tion. Since 1925, 53 men
and women have served as
trustees, who are selected
from those with legal, finan-
cial, industrial, business and
agricultural backgrounds.

establishing a donor fund

The Niswonger Performing Arts Center of
Northwest Ohio was honored with the Crystal Im-
age Award presented by the Van Wert Area Chamber
of Commerce at their annual banquet on January 26,
2012. The award is presented to a current Chamber
member business that has demonstrated leadership
within the Van Wert community by its many faceted
contributions which include business responsibility,
productivity strength, employee empowerment, and
service to the community.
What began as a dream in 2001 became a reality
in 2007 when the Niswonger Performing Arts Center
of Northwest Ohio opened its doors for the first pub-
lic concert. The mission set forth by the governing
board, the Van Wert Area Performing Arts Founda-
tion, was, in short, to inspire, educate and entertain
residents of Van Wert County and the surrounding
region as well as stimulate economic growth.
As the NPAC enters its fifth year, the Center has
had a direct impact in all areas of the stated mission.
It has offered a variety of programming encompass-
ing all genres of music, shows and speakers. The
NPAC has grown from 11 professional shows in
2007 to 27 with the completion of the 2011-2012
season. At the end of 2007, 71% of the ticket buying
patrons resided in Van Wert County. That percent-
age is now 34% of 3100 plus buyers in 2011. The
mailing list now exceeds 8500 which includes over
30 states and Canada. Patrons have come to Van
Wert County spending dollars for food, lodging and
fuel, all while enjoying the variety of programs at

an expanded ATM network and
convenient branch locations. This
is defnitely the right move for
our membership.
Once the deal is completed,
members of UTELCO will have
access to those additional prod-
ucts and services at Superior, such
as full-service mortgage products,
fnancial investment services, and
small business services.
Phil Buell, President and Chief
Executive Offcer of Superior,
believes the arrangement will
beneft the members of both insti-
tutions. In credit unions, consoli-
dation is done for the sole purpose
of benefting members. This is
a decision to combine assets and
provide additional services to the
membership.
Buell added, We believe this
merger will enhance the member
value proposition for UTELCO
Credit Union members.
Before the merger could take
place, the Boards of both credit
unions had to approve the proposal.
The merger is still subject to regu-
latory approval by the National
Credit Union Administration
(NCUA) and Ohio Division of
Financial Institutions (ODFI).
