Environmental benefits include reduced odors, reduced emissions, and improved wastewater treatment. In addition, by participating in LANDBANKs Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) program you can reap additional benefits including revenue from the sale of emission reduction credits and possible financial assistance.

Eligibility
The piggery farm manages its livestock under confined conditions The pig manure or the streams obtained after treatment is not discharged into natural water resources such as rivers and estuaries; The piggery currently uses an open anaerobic system with no methane recovery and destruction by flaring, combustion or gainful use The current retention time of manure waste within the anaerobic system must be greater than one (1) month The depth of the current anaerobic lagoon is at least one (1) meter The project proponent has signed an MOA with LBP for the intent to purchase and sell the Certified Emission Reductions The piggery is compliant with the applicable environmental laws
