Grieving NURSING MANAGEMENT related to the death Nurisng Care Plan of fetus should have been more careful

with my baby.

Greiving is a normal complex process that includes emotional, physical, spiritual, social, and intellectual responses and behaviors by which individuals, families, and communities incorporate an actual, anticipated, or perceived loss into their daily lives.

Patient will be able to: Express feelings of guilt, anger and sorrow. Acknowledge impact/effect of the grieving process and will verbalize that they will seek appropriate help.

1. Assess the patient for any evidence of suffering including pain and point of view of the world around them.

1. Suffering includes pain and the patients point of view of their world around them. Asking about suffering can help to relieve it merely by acknowledging its existence. 2. Listening and spending time with the patient and family can be one of the most helpful things that the nurse can do for the patient and their family. 3. Listening to the patients feelings of denial will make them feel they are understood and supported in dealing with the situation. 4.
