I am currently studying at Burnley College in order to improve grades and get the best results I can . These poor grades were due to environmental factors at home interfering with my studying due to problems within the family which played a huge part in affecting my performance in class. However, I believe I am a highachieving, capable student with high ambitions and will hopefully re-sit these exams and obtain the highest grades in order to pursue a career in my desired profession.

EMPLOYMENT HISTORY August 2011-March 2012 Sales Assistant, Fox Sports, Colne Part of a busy team, sales of shop products by communicating and listening to customers and ensuring that they receive the highest standards of customer service. Making sure all Products are displayed and presented at a high standard. The tasks which I was allocated are: Greeting & welcoming all potential and existing customers to the store. Matching the customers needs to the right product. Willing to approach customers and able to close a sale. Working as part of the sales team providing excellent customer service. Taking customer payments in cash or via credit cards. Excellent product knowledge. Occasionally negotiating with customers on price. Dealing with and resolving customer complaints and concerns. I was working at Emporio Sports Burnley , this was part of work experience for two weeks, as this was fundamentally gaining experience within school, I was in a new working environment which I had to adapt with very fast, the skills which I have gained e.g. communication skills which I got on very well with fellow work colleagues straight away , making sure there was a good working relationship with all the colleagues and also meeting strict deadlines these skills have helped with experience in working life.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE CHILDHOOD AMBITION From a very young age I have been involved in various family businesses and have been brought up to be a responsible adult ensuring the businesses are running smoothly while the managers have been away TEAMWORK AND PROBLEM SOLVING I have completed various group activities throughout my educational experience so far. These skills have also been further enhanced through organising Charity events.

LINGUISTIC I am able to communicate fluently in English, Urdu and Punjabi. I also have the ability to read Arabic. INTERESTS/HOBBIES I enjoy playing football and cricket. I am a member of a gym and regularly participate in.
