1. What do you like and dont like about the job?

I like it because I can help people which are in need. What I dislike about it is the fact that I cannot help all the people who need medical assistance. 2. Why are you interested in this nursing job? Im interested because I can work with high-tech equipment, and I can assist highly professionals in their work. 3. Why did you choose the area of nursing? I chose this profession because I feel that I can be close to those in need, and I can help them. 4. What do you do to keep up-to-date with the nursing position? I like to participate at various seminars and conferences from the area of medical equipment and of latest medical practices. I'm willing to do various training courses to better know how to help my patients. 5. What do you consider to be the most difficult challenges a nurse has to face? A big challenge that I have to face relies on the fact that sometimes I have to make decisions under pressure and in a very short time, knowing that my decision can save a life or jeopardize it. 6. What motivates you? The image of my patients smiling together with their loved ones; seeing them happy and healthy again. 7. What are the most important skills a nurse should have? What about your strengths and your weaknesses? I consider that a good nurse should be sympathetic, communicative, kind, considerate, and responsible. Looking at myself, I believe that I also posses such qualities and I want to use them to help sick people. I think that I am sensitive, I attach very quickly to people that I come in contact with, and Im concerned about every case that I encounter, which I sometimes fear it will affect my ability to properly assess the situation. 8. Where do you see yourself in a few years? My goal is to work in a place where Ill be able to properly do my job, and to be part of a performant team, and I think that your clinic is offering me such an opportunity, so I hope I will be seeing me working in this organization few years from now on.

9. Where did you get your qualifications and training from? I graduated a specialized nursing school and I gathered my practical knowledge during the practice stages; those were the moments when I realized that this is a job that I really want to make a career of. 10. Why are you leaving your current job? Mainly its because I lack any perspective of advancing on my career, but also Im not quite satisfied with the financial aspect of my current workplace. 11. Why should this healthcare organization hire you? Because Im fully dedicated to my profession and to my professional evolution and if a proper environment is provided (as it is in this case), I can participate to the evolution of the organization and I can sustain the achievement of a good professional reputation of it. 12. How do you manage the day-to-day work? I am an organized person. I like to sketch a to-do list every day, early in the morning, so that I can have an overall view of the problems to be solved that day. I also like to talk with my team members about those cases which are more complex, and to take their views into consideration. 13. Do you assist your colleagues? How? I like teamwork, because I think ultimately its an advantage for patients. Working together, we can gather several points of view on the problem and we can come up with a better solution and a more appropriate treatment. 14. How do you manage emergency situations? I usually make efforts to prevent them, but when I encountered such situations I try to focus on what appear to be in the best interest of the patient. I also try not to get too emotionally involved, because this can distract me and make me lose control of the situation.
