You can also sign up to get email alerts of forthcoming suspensions in your street or CPZ. To sign up visit www.camden.gov.uk/parkingalerts 10. You may wish to set your own permit reminder, as it is your responsibility to renew your permit on time. 11. Charges All charges are included on the attached fees and charges leaflet. 12. Emission based charging Charges for residents permits are split into four tariffs based on either your vehicles cylinder capacity (cc), CO2 emissions (g/km) or vehicle category depending on when it was registered. The different prices are part of an initiative to encourage residents to think about the way we get around and the impact our vehicles have on the environment. 13. Diesel vehicle supplement An additional 10 supplement on top of the emission based tariffs will be applied to diesel vehicles to account for the greater negative impact diesel vehicles have on local air quality. 14. Additional vehicle registrations Charges apply for registering a 2nd or 3rd vehicle registration to your resident permit. If more than one vehicle is registered to a permit the resident permit charge will be applied to the vehicle falling under the highest emission based tariff, please refer to the current fees and charges. 15. Payments Cheques must be made payable to London Borough of Camden (RP). Please write your address and vehicle registration number on the reverse of the cheque. 16. Lost or stolen permits We will replace stolen permits for free if you supply us with a crime reference number, otherwise a fee of 10 will be charged. 18. Fraud and abuse prevention To help prevent fraud and abuse of the resident permit scheme, each month a sample of permit holders will be asked to provide proof of residence and vehicle details.
