If you require a replacement screen, phone cover and screwdrivers, they can be purchased here: http://www.formymobile.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=s5570lcd Tools required for disassembly: Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar plectrum or credit card. Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Four screws need to be removed, circled below.
Run something like a credit card around the join of the battery compartment to release it from the rest of the phone.

With the battery compartment removed your phone should look like below. Two ribbon connectors (circled) needs to be disconnected. Each attaches like a plug and socket. Just lever each one up to unplug. Next, you can lift the circuit board away from the rest of the phone.
With the circuit board removed, your phone should look like below.
If you wish to remove the speaker, lever it from the point indicated by the arrow.

With the speaker removed your phone should look like below.
To remove the metal shield and ringer, look at the reverse side of the circuit board, as shown below. Remove the four screws you can see.
The metal shield should now be free, as you can see below.

The circled ribbon connector needs to be disconnected. Just flick the black latch up to release it (refer to the next stage of the guide).
Below you can see the black latch circled in the open position. Now remove the earpiece by lifting it from the point indicated by the arrow.
With the earpiece removed your phone should look like below.

To remove the LCD screen you first need to apply some heat around its edge with a hot air gun or hair dryer. Do this for 30-60 seconds then slide something like a credit card all the way around the very edge of the LCD screen.
With the LCD screen removed, your phone should look like below. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.

I would take the phone apart, spray the circuit board with electrical contact cleaner and gently brush the board with an old toothbrush to remove any moisture residue and clean the circuit board. Reply 3 Like July 11, 2012 at 5:25am Top Commenter OBA karvin
