WHAT I LIKE ABOUT GLAS ~ I like to go to centers. I like doing worship with the Pastors. ~Noah Fitzpatrick, Kindergarten GLAS ANNUAL CONSTITUENCY MEETING There will be a constituency meeting at Greater Lansing Adventist School on Tuesday, April 16th. At this meeting we will vote the budget for the 2013-2014 school year. The evening will begin with an Open House/Baked Potato Bar at 5:00 pm and a Music Program at 6:30 pm. The constituency meeting will follow at 7:00 pm. All are invited to attend. IMPACT NEWS: April service dates to serve supper to the homeless are: Saturday, April 13 at City Rescue Mission Family Center (5:30pm7:30pm) and Saturday, April 27 at Volunteers of America (5:00pm7:00pm). April sign-up is located on the bulletin board near the restrooms. New volunteers should call Impact Coordinator, Linda Cabose: (517) 321-2019. STEWARDSHIP VESPERS - Please join us on April 13th at 6:00pm for a special vespers service to commemorate the role of stewardship in our walk as Christians. There will be singing, personal testimonies and inspiring stories reflecting on what God has done for us. Light refreshments will be served after the service. If anyone is interested in participating in the song service or has a 2-3 minute personal testimony related to stewardship they would like to share during the vespers service, please contact Paul Jacokes at 517-575-8343. PANCAKE BREAKFAST: The social committee would like to invite the church family to a pancake breakfast Sunday, April 14, at 10am. Food will be served from 10am-11am in the GLAS gym. There is a sign-up sheet in the church foyer. Bring your favorite pancake topping and join us for breakfast! ATTENTION: IPAD/IPHONE USERS: The church directory is now available for ipad and iphone! MEMORIZE HIS WORD PSALM 119: Please join us as we recite Psalm 119 for the MEMORIZE HIS WORD Vespers on April 27. Sharpen your swords and memorize a few verses yourself, or with your family, to share. We hope to see you there to enjoy this biannual event.
