Learning Outcomes: By the end of this lesson, the pupils should be able to: Able to state fruits colour. Able to construct simple sentence about colours. Enhance students listening skills. Enrich vocabulary.

Stage/ Duration Set induction (5 minutes)

Content The song: What colour is the sky? Its blue. (3x) What colour is the sun? Its yellow. (3x) What colour is the grass? Its green. (3x) What colour is an apple? Its red. (3x) An apple is red, the grass is green, the sun is yellow, the sky is blue, the sky is blue. - Introduce colours of the environment. - Introduce todays topic.

Teaching and learning activities 1. Teacher gives colour cards to each students and plays the video and ask student to listen. 2. Divide pupils into a few groups, each group sings a paragraph of the song. 3. Teacher plays again the video and ask students to raise the same colour card as in the video. E.g. What colour is the sky? Its blue (student raise blue card).

Presentation (10 minutes)

- Jack & The Beanstalk story. -see appendix-

1. Teacher read the story using picture book and students listen. 2. Teacher puts a text on the board with empty space for students to fill in with colour card. 3. Teacher divides students into four groups and asks representative of each group to fill in the space by placing the correct colour. E.g. _______ magic beans (student need to paste green colour card in the space)

Activity 1: -Teacher gives costumes, situation and colours for each group. Each group need to come up with a role play base on the costumes, situation and stress on colours given to them. -Teacher guides student when needed.

Production (10 minutes)

1. Teacher distributes 3 different levels of worksheets to pupils according to the pupils intelligence level. 2. Teacher observes and asks for feedback of what pupils have gain. 3. Teacher make a group quiz to test the pupils intelligence level. The best group will be reward. 1. Teacher displays the poem on the board. 2. Teacher asks a pupil to read the poem while the others follow. 3. Teacher makes the pupils enjoy the poem by acting out the action in the poem, and the pupils imitate. 4. Teacher summarizes the lesson.
