Geometry pROJECT

Carmen Mata

RIGHT ANGLE I took this picture of the door because it has a RIGHT ANGLE. A right angle has 90 degrees.

ACUTE ANGLE
I took this picture of a ribbon because it is a ACUTE ANGLE. An acute angle is less than 90 degrees.

OBTUSE ANGLE
I took this picture of this star because is a OBTUSE ANGLE. An obtuse angle is more than 90 degrees.

PARALLEL LINES
I took this photo of my bedcover because it shows PARALLEL LINES. Parallel lines never touch each other.

INTERSECTING LINES
I took this photo of my poster because it shows INTERSECTING LINES. Intersecting lines are the ones that touch.

PERPENDICULAR LINES
I took this photo of my bed because it shows PEPENDICULAR LINES. Perpendicular lines are the ones that touch and form a right angle.

TRIANGLE
I took this picture of a sticker in my window because it shows a TRIANGLE. A triangle is a polygon with 3 sides and 3 angles .

QUADRILATERAL
I took this photo of a post-it because it shows a QUADRILATERAL. A quadrilateral is a polygon shape with 4 sides and 4 angles.

RHOMBUS
I took this picture of my shirt because it shows a RHOMBUS. A rhombus is a polygon shape that looks like a diamond. It is a quadrilateral that has 2 obtuse angles and 2 acute angles and the sides have the same size.

PENTAGON
I took this picture of a sticker box because it shows a PENTAGON. A pentagon is a polygon shape with 5 sides and 5 angles.

HEXAGON
I took this picture of a nail because it shows a HEXAGON. A hexagon is a polygon with 6 sides and 6 angles.

OCTAGON
I took this picture of a dish because it shows an OCTAGON. An octagon is a polygon it has 8 sides and 8 angles.

I took this photo of a ink box because it shows a TRAPEZOID. An trapezoid is a quadrilateral that has 4 sides with 2 parallel lines and 2 that aren t parallel.

TRAPEZOID

SPHERE
I took this picture of this object because it shows a SPHERE. A sphere is a 3D shape with no sides and no angles.

CUBE
I took this picture of a dice because it shows a CUBE. A cube is a 3D shape form with 6 squares.

RECTANGULAR PRISM
I took this picture of a box because it shows a RECTANGULAR PRISM. A rectangular prism is a 3D shape that is formed with 6 quadrilaterals at least 4 needs to be rectangle.

CONE
I took this picture of a hat because it shows a CONE. A cone is a 3D shape that has 1 that is a circle and the other one that is a triangle.

PYRAMID
I took this picture of a top because it shows a PYRAMID. A pyramid is a 3D shape the base of a pyramid can be any polygon shape and the other faces are triangles.

I hope you enjoyed my power point. Thank you I enjoyed a lot doing this project.
