Description: Motorola Solutions is pleased to announce the releases of the MOTOTRBO System SR1.11. This release includes the following items: New MOTOTRBO Subscriber Firmware (Version R01.11.02). New MOTOTRBO 800-900MHz subscriber firmware (R01.10.20). The new SR1.11 System Release CPS, Portable, Mobile, RDAC, associated guides, and the System Planner may be downloaded from the Mol website in order to maintain compatibility with the new production releases.

Product Versions
Models: All MOTOTRBO Platform Mobile, Portable, and Repeater Models. Detailed Information: Whats new in System Release SR1.11: Restricted Access to System (RAS) Provides the capability of enabling and disabling a radio from transmitting or listening to a transmission in the system through the use of RAS Key authentication and Radio ID Range Check. This feature is supported on MOTOTRBO Platform subscribers, as well as on the 8MB and 32MB MOTOTRBO Repeaters. Linked Capacity Plus (LCP) support for 15 sites LCP will now be able to support up to 15 sites, which is the maximum number of sites currently supported by IP Site Connect.

Man Down This feature is only available on the MOTOTRBO Ex Series models. Man Down is a safety feature that triggers the radios internal software emergency routine if the pre-programmed movement criteria are met. QCII Encode for DEP570/550 radio models Enable the QCII encode feature for Call Alert and Selective Call. Radio Management (RM) Enhancements a. Remote Device Programmer: The CPS Server can support up to 128 CPS Device Programmers, which allows the system administrator to have all radios in one CPS Server and have access to different sites with non-overlapping RF coverage. b. Support for managing Templates, Voice Announcement, Language Packs, and Enhanced Privacy/OTAP/RAS keys: Allows users to view and manage the available templates in RM Server - Import Templates, rename templates, edit templates, delete templates, select different language packs for templates, and upgrade firmware of templates c. Support for upgrading Firmware: Radio Firmware is upgraded by upgrading the Template applied on the radio. Template can be upgraded to any applicable newer Firmware available in the RM Server. d. Support for simultaneous programming (up to 16 radios) via USB (Windows 7 only) e. Server/Database and Licensing Enhancement: Improved server performance and enhanced server security. Require users to migrate to CPS version 8.5. MOTOTRBO Subscriber Enhancements: Emergency caller ID will now properly update when another party responds to the emergency call MTR3000 Enhancements: Strip Transmit PL: A configurable GPIO pin on the repeater can be used by 3rd party box to inhibit the transmission of subaudible signaling (PL/DPL) of the repeater. This enhancement is applicable to Analog mode only.

DC Power Cutback: This enhancement allows the repeater to work with DC power supply in the event that an AC power failure occurs. When working with DC power supply the repeater will be provisioned with a new RF transmit power level. This feature is applicable in both Analog and Digital modes. Adjustable Squelch Levels: Provides 15 adjustable receive squelch levels on the repeater applicable on Analog mode only. Wireline Mute Pin: In a system where Repeater 1 has the same transmit frequency as the receiving frequency of Repeater 2, the outbound from Repeater 1 can be received by Repeater 2. This feature allows Repeater 1 to send an output indication by activating the Wire Mute Pin on the J7 connector to mute Repeater 2. This is achieved with the use of a wireline card and is applicable in Analog mode only. Other Firmware Available on a Per Demand Basis only: The Conventional (R01.11.02) to 3600 baud Trunking firmware conversion (R01.10.203), via a firmware upgrade file. The 3600 baud Trunking firmware (R01.10.20) to Conventional firmware conversion (R01.11.02), via a firmware upgrade file.. Models: All MOTOTRBO Mobile, Portable, and Repeater Models. DownLoading: These new releases SR1.11, Subscriber Firmware (Version R01.11.02) and the 800-900MHz subscriber firmware (R01.10.20) packages may be downloaded from the MOL website. To download the latest MOTOTRBO System Planner, go to Mol Resource Center >Product Information > Manuals >MOTOTRBO> Systems. For the SAMS to download Update Packages, please go to the Mol Resource Center, as per the usual process. Note: After updating your radio Firmware to the latest version ensure that you also load the latest version language pack(s) found in the latest CPS version under Device>Load Language Pack(s). Failure to update the language packs may cause the radio to display the wrong language scripts.
