Global crude oil price of Indian Basket drops further to US$ 103.15/bbl on 08.04.

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 103.15/barrel (bbl) on 08.04.2013. This was lower than the price of US$ 104.04/bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of 05.04.2013. In rupee terms also, the crude oil price declined to Rs 5644.37/bbl on 08.04.2013 as compared to Rs 5709.72/bbl on 05.04.2013. This was mainly due to fall in price in dollar terms and also assisted by rupee appreciation. Rupee-dollar exchange rate on 08.04.2013 at Rs 54.72/US$ against Rs 54.88/US$ on previous trading day of 5.04.2013. The table below gives details in this regard:
