ROW to the end of the world


Reepicheep rides a rowboat across the Last Sea in search of Aslans homeland. Create your own rowboat similar to the one Reepicheep sails in on his final voyage.
You will need: 1 sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 paper (You may want to use blank paper, construction paper, or wrapping paper to add some color to your rowboat.) Materials to decorate your boat with

a. Hold the piece of paper vertically and fold it in half. b. Next, fold the left side of the paper to meet the right side and make another crease. Then unfold the paper at that crease. a. b. a. Fold the top left corner to meet at the crease created in Step 1. b. Fold the bottom strip of just one side up over part of the newly created triangle. Then flip your paper over and repeat a. and b. a. It will now look like a hat. b. Pick the paper up and use your thumbs to open the bottom of the triangle. c. Flatten the paper into a diamond. Make sure to tuck in any loose flaps. a. Fold the bottom point of one side of the diamond up to meet the top point of the diamond. b. Flip the paper over and repeat on the other side. c. Open the triangle from the bottom with your thumbs. d. Flatten into another diamond. Pick up the diamond and gently pull apart the sides of the diamond until they wont pull apart anymore. Flatten into a canoe shape and your rowboat is complete. Decorate the boat with crayons, markers, buttons, string or any other art materials. Bon Voyage!
