Using high precision CNC manufacturing and top quality components combined with a new high performance thermodynamic design gives the E3D All - Metal v4 HotEnd drastic improvements over conventional hotends. All metal construction means that the E3D All - Metal v4 HotEnd can reach and exceed temperatures for processing all known thermoplastics opening doors to printing exciting new materials now coming onto the market such as Polycarbonate and Nylon. By using active - cooling and a short thermal break the E3D All - Metal v4 HotEnd provides responsive and precise extrusion while also requiring the minimum of force to push the filament. The E3D All - Metal v4 HotEnd is designed to be mounted in normal groovemount extruder bodies, so acts as a drop in replacement for a J - headhowever if you would like a different mounting option to suit your particular application this can be accommodated. Other changes and requests can also be catered for. We can supply full DIY kits, complete with all wiring, electronic components and printed fan mounts packaged in a postage - ready box for resellers or kit vendors. Alternatively for printer manufacturers we can supply the machined metal parts only if you wish to use your own components to complete the setup.
