ING has set up a datawarehouse solution to answer the Solvency II Directive 2009/138/EC which is an EU Directive that codifies and harmonises EU insurance regulation. The mission was to improve the data governance and data quality. The purpose was to measure the data quality during an ETL process and in data warehouse. I was in charge of building a quality data mart. The other parts of data quality were DataFlux improvement, framework re-design, data methodology enhancement. One other critical part was to define a data mart to report and improve the data quality.
