Masters degree: Students shall complete all requirements within 1 to 4 years from initial enrollment; however, approved leave periods will not be counted as terms of enrollment. C. Qualifications for application: Applicants must meet the following qualifications as well as requirements of each school. 1. Status eligibility: (1) Applicants are neither Taiwan R.O.C. citizens nor overseas Chinese. (2) Applicants who had Taiwan R.O.C. nationality, must have given up their Taiwan R.O.C. nationality for 8 years or more and approved by the Ministry of the Interior Taiwan R.O.C. Counting back from the day of application, applicants must have continuously resided abroad for more than 6 years (8 years for School of Medicine and School of Dentistry applicants). (1) (2) 2. Educational eligibilityBachelor degree received from or currently enrolled as a senior student in universities accredited by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan R.O.C. is required. Final number of admission offers will be determined by Ministry of Education, Taiwan 93 I. Notification and requirements after acceptance: 1. Accepted students must present overseas Taiwan representative office verified diplomas and transcripts during the registration process. 2. Students who have not awarded tuition waiver and monthly stipend scholarship will need to provide proof of financial support (US$15,000 or equivalent amount) stamped, sealed, and mailed by the bank. Fail to provide proof will be declined the admission. () 15,000 3. All new students need to provide 4 months overseas medical insurance proof for their first 4 months stay in Taiwan (if no insurance coverage available in your local area, you may purchase upon registration with TWD2000 cost). 4( )(80) 4. International students arrive TMU after one-third of the semester will not be allowed to register. 5. If an international student has been expelled from an educational institute in Taiwan R.O.C. for having failed the morality and conduct evaluation, failed academically, or sentenced for a criminal case, he/she may not apply for enrollment according to the rules and regulations listed here.
