The Nestle World Food Festival


• The Introduction

The first time ever a truly unique event, The Nestle World Food Festival is going
to be held in Pakistan opposite Village hotel, sea view, Karachi will mark history and will
initiate new trends for the city. It will substantiate that Pakistan is the right place for any
business activity or event and will remind the world yet again that Karachi is indeed the
gateway of south-east Asia.

The Festival will begin with a live concert including performers from all over
Pakistan making visitors known to the local culture of all the provinces. The event will
include a variety of culinary delights and will serve as a tremendous backdrop for
dignitaries visiting the city.

The Festival, which will take place biennial, will expand to include more food
vendors and more global entertainment. Several splendid features including cooking
demonstrations from participating vendors, strolling entertainment, and taste selections
from each cultural café will also be included.

The Nestle World Food Festival provides the opportunity to taste your way
around the world. The Nestle World Food Festival now features cafes, artisans, a variety
of entertainers and a marketplace.

The Scope

The Nestle World Food Festival is already endorsed by the government of


Pakistan and reverent organizations like Nestle, Unilever, Coca-cola, Mobilink GSM, and
Engro Foods. In order to maintain diversity, we have participants around the globe who
will be placing their stalls and will market their business with us.

The festival will help Pakistan to portray a better and a sophisticated image to
world that we are indeed not one of those who are spreading terror and will give local
people an opportunity to mingle with people of various backgrounds, cultures, races,
religions which will make them understand other cultures.

It will equally benefit private entities to market their businesses with us in a more
diversified and sophisticated atmosphere where people from every part of the world will
be participating giving their business a broader exposure.

Resources to be acquired:

The response that we received so far from organizations and individual tourists
and food lovers from around the globe is unbelievable which has boosted our morals and
has met our anticipation of the budget. So far whatever funds we generated are the
struggle of only a week. We still have three weeks left to start the festival.

We need Rs. 62,000,000 more which will be generated as soon as more clients
will come in touch and will ask for stalls. The probable funds that will be generated are
more than 100,000,000 rupees which are more than enough to finance the daily
entertainment related expenses, security personnel expenses, expenses for the material
rented for the event, i.e., chairs, tables, etc.

Moreover we have prepared teams for crises management to deal with any kind of
unfavorable circumstances if appeared anytime during the event. We are hopeful and
fully prepared that this event will be a big success for us and for the people of Pakistan as
a whole.
