GENERAL SPECIFIC ATIONS OF A

FOUNDATION

FIRST CLASS 1ST Class BRICK WORK in L.M Or 1:6 CM over L.C 1:4:8 Cem.Concrete D.P.C shall be 2.5 cm thick, C.C 1:1.5:3 mixed with 1kg of impermo per bag of cement and painted with 2 coats of bitumen It shall be of 1st class brick work with L.M or 1:6 C.M Lintels over doors & Windows shall be of R.C.C

SECONDCLASS 1ST Class BRICK WORK with L.M Over Lime Concrete

THIRD CLASS 2nd Class BRICK WORK with L.M Over Lime Concrete D.P.C shall be 2 cm thick, C.M 1:2 mixed with 1kg of impermo per bag of cement It shall be of 2nd class brick work with Mud Mortar Lintels over doors & Windows shall be provided with arches of 2nd class brick work in L.M or with wooden planks Roof shall be of Mud over tiles or Bricks or planks over wooden beams or of tile or G.I sheet or A.C. Sheet sloping roof.

FOURTH CLASS Sun dried or Kutcha brick works in Mud Mortar

& PLINTH

D. P . C

D.P.C shall be 2 cm thick, C.C 1:2 mixed with 1kg of impermo per bag of cement It shall be of 2nd class brick work with L.M or 1:6 C.M Lintels over doors & Windows shall be of R.B

---Doors & Windows shall be provided with arches of 2nd class brick work in L.M or with wooden planks

SUPER STRUCTURE

ROOFING

R.C.C Slab with an insulation layer & L.C terracing above, supported over beams. Height of room not les than 3.7m (12ft)

FLOORING

Drawing room & dining room shall be of Mosaic (terrazo). Bath room and W.C. floors and dado shall be of mosaic. Floors of bed rooms shall be coloured & polished of 2.5cm C.C over 7.5cm L.C.other floors shall be 2.5cm C.C over 7.5cm L.C polished

Roof shall be R.B. ( Resin Bonded) Slab with 7.5cm lime conc terracing above. Or ROOF Supported over wooden battensand beams or jack arch roof. Verandah roof may be of A.C sheet or Allahabad tiles Floors shall be 2.5cm C.C over 7.5cm L.C. Verandah floor shall be of brick tile or flag stone over L.C, finished cement painted.

Roof shall be of tile roof over bamboo and wooden supports.

Floor shall be of brick-on-edge floor over well rammed earth.

Floor shall be Kutcha or Earthen floor finished with gobri washing (cowdung lepping)

FINISHING

DOORS & WINDOWS

MISCELLA NEOUS

Inside & Outside walls shall be of 12mm(1/2) cement lime plastered 1:1:6. Drawing, dining and bed rooms-inside shall be distempered, and othersinside white washed 3 coats. Outside shall be coloured SNOWCEM washed two coats over one coat of white wash Chaukhats shall be seasoned teak wood. Shutters shall be teak wood 4.3cm (1 ) thick paneled glazed or partly paneled and partly glazed as required, with additional wire guage shutters. All fittings shall be of Brass. Doors and windows shall be varnished or painted two coats with high class enamel paint over one coat of priming. Windows shall be provided with iron grating or grills Rain water pipes of cast iron or asbestos cement shall be provided and finished painted. Building shall be provided with 1st class sanitary and Water fittings and Electrical installations. 1 meter wide 7.5cm thick C.C 1:3:6 apron shall be provided all round the building.

Inside & Outside walls shall be of 12mm(1/2) cement mortar plastered 1:6. Ceiling shall be cement plastered 1:3. inside shall be white washed 3 coats, colour washed two coats over one coat of white wash Chaukhats shall be of R.C.C or well seasoned sal wood, shutters of shisham wood or deodar wood 4cm(1) thick paneled, glazed or partly paneled and partly glazed as required, fitted with iron fittings. Doors and windows shall be painted two coats over one coat of priming Rain water pipes shall be of cast iron finished painted. Electrification, and sanitary and water fitting may be provided if required.

Inside & Outside walls shall be plastered with Lime mortar and white washed 3 coats

Chaukhats shall be of sal wood, shutters of chir mango or country wood. Doors and windows shall be painted two coats with ordinary paint over one coat of priming
