Tehreem Afzal in her article impact of Indian cinema on Pakistani culture (2012) stated that Indian movies are very much popular in our country and movies are very much seen in Pakistan. Bollywood is a largest showbiz industry in the world and one of the main reasons of great influence of Indian cinema in our society and culture is because of downfall of Pakistani showbiz industry. Pakistani cinema is going down and working poorly. Indian cinema is promoting its culture through its movies and dramas, which are totally based on Hindu tradition. they are influencing our culture and values by showing us their dramas and movies which are totally based on their artificial believes and they are catching attention of our people by showing so much fantasy , colours and glitters in their movies and dramas. Pakistani cinema is lacking all these elements. It is the need of the time that Pakistani cinema should be improved; it needs more attention of great investors and script writers, So that our people and society turns to watch their own cinema. Movies should be magnifying our society, culture and beliefs. Our culture is being spoiled .Pakistani cinema is now working to resume its worth and status values. Our showbiz industry still has some great thinkers and story tellers who are working hard for reshaping Pakistani cinema. Unethical and abused Indian movies should be banned in our country by law enforcement strategies. Sarfarz ud Din in his article movies and its effects on peoples (2011) stated that Indian movies have great impact on Indian and Pakistani society. One good aspect of Hollywood and Indian movies is ultimate victory of heroes and good people. Movies have a great impact on the lives of peoples and mostly movies are produced according to the lives of peoples and due to this these movies can impress their audience in both scene positive scene or negative scene. Most villains in Indian and English movies either die or they realize their mistakes. Although most of Indian movies revolves around men and women love yet good Indian and Hollywood movies shows valuable social realities and truth about society. However, Indian and Hollywood movies show considerable violence. Such violence in Indian and Hollywood movies could promote crimes. However many such Hollywood movies are extremely entertaining. Unfortunately,

heroes and good people never win in real life. No hero reaches to save good people. Noble educated people cannot fight. Wicked people overcome nobles. Marium Iftikar in her article value of Pakistani culture (2012) stated that Pakistani Culture is very unique in terms of its social and ethical values. Pakistan's culture is very diverse. Pakistani culture consists of different cultures starting from the Punjabis and sindhis to the family cultures of the easternmost Pakistani provinces. Now these cultures have strongly been influenced by surrounding cultures of India, Central Asia and the Middle East along with other places. Pakistani society is largely multilingual and multicultural. Today due to globalization, Pakistani culture is largely influenced by the western society. Indian movies can be seen here in Pakistani cinemas and Pakistani movies can be seen in India. Some major differences occur. Large number Pakistanis are also living in Middle East. These emigrants and their children influence Pakistan culturally and economically by travelling to Pakistan and returning and investing there. Nadir Hussain in his article Impact of Indian Movies On Pakistani Youth(2011) stated that Indian actors and Indian movies are very much popular in Pakistani youth. In Pakistan the Bollywood movies are very much famous and the real reason of Indian movies popularity is the step by step downward of our Pakistani showbiz industry. It is said that Urdu language became famous all over the world because of Indian Movies. Indian movies are promoting Indian culture and you would obviously know that all the Indian movies are based on Hindu tradition. Indian movies and Indian dramas are great source for the promotion of Indian culture. Indian movies are doing the same thing with Pakistani nation. Indian Movies that which are responsible for the promotion of crimes in the society. Themes of the movies mostly conveys that in society you should be fight for your rights and mostly you should kill the people. Sara Ehsan in her article Media influence on youth (2011) wrote that With appearance of channels, the whole media industry has been commercialized. Our social values are changing slowly and steadily. Due to increase and unstable growth of cable & satellite transmissions, affects the youth of Pakistan especially by changing their thoughts, minds, beliefs, cultural values and daily life style. Moreover these are changing eating habits and dinning culture, now people started liking the western food due to the advertisements on channels. It is general observation that people follow the celebrities shown in media. Social interaction is a part of

Pakistans culture. Impact of foreign traditions that are being introduced through media has great influence on our religious traditions. Our media try erosion of Pakistani culture and introducing Indian and western culture in the country. Traditionally, Pakistan has a culture for arrange marriages. Today, due to media influence, culture of love marriages get popular, now children select their life partners by their own choice. Many Pakistani private channels are telecasting foreign and Indian films, festivals & shows. In Pakistan, our drama industry made sudden impact on minds of peoples. Our Pakistani drama channels such as Indus Vision, ARY digital, Hum TV and Geo entertainment etc, are highly influenced by Indian and western channels and trying to fight with these channels to serve as the leader for our society. The Indian dramas & films have frequent and thorough negative impact on our social, cultural, religious beliefs and values of Pakistani youth.

Sajida Khan Niazi in her article impact of Indian media on Pakistan(2008) stated that Indian movies and dramas have dangerous impact on Pakistans media, culture and public. There was a time when Indian drama makers admitted themselves that Pakistani dramas are fabulous and admirable than Indian dramas, but if we see current situation people are more inspire from Indian dramas. Star plus and other private TV channels of India has impact on our public, they show more their culture in their dramas rather than story. Pakistan channel must make those types of dramas in which they should promote our own religion duties because some our TV channels also show Hindu culture in dramas, they must show our own tradition, culture, and customs. If we talk about Indian movies they are also promoting loyalty toward India and show extreme dislike against Muslims and Pakistan, in India movies whenever they show some ethnic groups or some terrorist organization they always give them name of Muslims, and Islam. In their movies they show Muslim as extremists. While in India there are so much extremist organization, but in their movies they show Pakistani as extremists. On other hand Pakistan instead raise this issue on international level always show moderate behaviour, we should ban Indian movies in Pakistan, but Pakistani cinemas shows Indian movies. In their movies India shows anti-Pakistan feelings, in some movies they show vulgarity. Which shows bad impact on mind of our young generation, through their media India want to role in mind of our generation,

our government must take steps to counter India; it must be ban on India transmission in Pakistan. Mahwish Fatima in her article changing life style in Pakistan(2010) stated that We may go for some little changes. For instance, we may change clothing style. We may change our room setting. We may change our eating stuff. The society of Pakistan is dynamic and therefore everchanging, and its patterns are changing transforming from time to time. Changes are the spice of life. We want changes around us. It is good to have a change. If we are seeking for a healthy and entertaining life then changes are very important. Changes must be positive. We may go for some little changes. For instance, we may change clothing style. We may change our room setting. We may change our eating stuff. Change your life the way you want to change but be careful that these changes should be better for all. Dr.Ashraf khan wrote in his article influence and effects of bollywood films on Pakistani Culture that Pakistan's flirtation with the Hindi film industry is not new. There is not a single town, a single village, a single 'mohalla' (neighbourhood) where Indian films and television programmes are not being seen. The Pakistan government still does not permit Indian films to be imported and Indian movies are not shown in the rapidly declining cinema theatres in the country as Islamabad feels Indian films would have a "corrupting influence" on Islamic culture and overwhelm the local film industry. Indian films are diverting Pakistanis from their own culture and norms by telling them their culture and norms.
