Electronic Engineering) 2009-present IMCB F-8/4, Islamabad (Intermediate Examination) 2006-2008 IMCB F-8/4, Islamabad (Matriculation Examination) 2004-2006 Practical Experience: OGDCL (June - July 2012) Internship o Wireline Logging Department o Mud Logging Department At OGDCL, I studied and tested various instruments used in the above mentioned departments and how the data gets processed from coming from various sensors to the control unit. Schlumberger (July August 2012) Internship o Well Services Department (Cementing) At Schlumberger, I studied about the various processes of cementing. I also worked in quality management and maintenance works in the cementing department GPA: 2.6 / 4.00

Final Year Project:

Computer Generated Holography: Designed, implemented and compared several techniques to calculate holograms on computer. Worked on the 2D diffraction holograms, Digital holography used for microscopy, and the commercially available holograms and making them viable to be launched in Pakistan. (Project Sponsored by National ICT R&D Fund)
Projects Completed: Digital Signal Processing: Voice encryption system using signal and image processing techniques. Digital Image Processing: Classification of Cancer Tissues based on Gleason Grading, using image processing. Autonomous Robot: Built Line Tracking, color Sensing Autonomous Robot for NERC and EME Olympiad. RC Aircraft: Worked on Electronics Section of radio controlled aircrafts for FFD Turkey and DBFC. Electronics II: Sinusoidal, Triangular and Square Wave Generator with variable frequency and amplitude. ATM Machine Prototype: An ATM machine prototype with 8051 Microcontroller with LCD and Motors Interfacing. Signals and Systems: Camera based Motion Detection system. Technical Skills: Programming in MATLABTM, Assembly Language, C and Ladder Logic (PLC). Familiar with Mechanical Workshop equipment, i.e. Shaper, Lathe, Milling machines etc. Can Run Electronics Simulation Software (Proteus, Multisim, PSpice, Modelsim) and microcontroller programming softwares (Keil, Mide, Mplab). Honors and Achievements: Section Student Representative for IEEE Islamabad Section (2012-present). President at Fun Oriented and Creative Undergraduate Students (FOCUS) Group at GIKI (2012-13). Vice President External Relations, IEEE GIKI Chapter (2012-13). Technical Head at SPIE (Society of Photo-optics and Instrumentation Engineers) GIKI Chapter (2012-13). Won National Design, Build and Fly Competition 2011 held at GIK Institute. Runners up in EME Olympiad 2011 RoboRace. Activities and Interests: Was part of organizing team of Conference: Pakistan Energy Options organized by SOPREST, and GIK Institute in Islamabad Organized IEEE Pakistan Student Congress 2012 for the first time at GIK Institute as the coordinator of Congress. Organized national level event (All Pakistan ElectroniX Olympiad 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013) as a member of IEEE GIKI Chapter. Organized First and Second All Pakistan Optics Olympiad as member of SPIE GIKI Chapter. Lead a team to National Engineering Robotics Competition (NERC), 2011 held at NUST. Participated in Future Flight Design, 2011 (FFD) held at Istanbul, Turkey. Delivered Workshop on Robotics in GIKI organized under IEEE.
