SKEMA JAWAPAN ANSWERS SCHEME 1(a) (i) Tap size M12 x 1.75 - to detemine the drill size 12 1.75 = 10.25 mm Therefore, use 10.5 mm drill bit - use center punch to mark the center before drilling - use 10.5 mm drill bit and drill the through hole - use the taper tap and make sure it is exactly positioned vertically to the axis of the hole - turn the wrench clockwise from half to full cycle.

(ii) The 30 mm x 20 mm hole - use surface gauge to marking line based on the measurement
