of Engineering (Agricultural and Biosystem)? I register as a student in Bachelor of Engineering (Agricultural and Biosystem) because of my strong interest in agricultural engineering. For your information before I further my studies in Bac. of Engineering Agricultural and Biosystem, I am a diploma holder of Mechanical Engineering (Agricultural) at Kota Bharu polytechnic. Besides that, I saw agricultural engineering have a big potential for the future of agriculture sector in Malaysia.

2. Where would you be five years from now? I want to secure an agricultural engineer position with government or private company and gain a lot of experience from that. I would like to work for a young private company, so I can get in on the ground floor and take advantage of all the opportunities a growing firm has to offer. After that, I want to build up my own company that based on agricultural engineering to serve public with product, service and consultation. I also see myself as a master and PhD holders in five years from now. 3. What is your expectation on the Engineer and society subject? I expect to understand what the purpose of studying Engineer and society is. I also want to be exposed to the content this subject. Besides that, I want to know the issues of engineering in the Malaysian context, the engineering profession, the code of ethics and professionalism. In addition, I also want to understand the relationship between Engineer and society and what can engineer do with society. Last but not least, of course I am expecting to get an A for this subject. 4. What did you expect on the lecturer? My expectation on the lecturer is lecturer can provide clear information about engineer and society subject. I also expect that the lecturer to be more close to the student as we can share and discuss anything about the subject with confident and we can share our taught without fear.

5. What did you understand by the term of Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering? Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering is about applying engineering discipline in to agriculture. It involves a lot of calculation, design process, experiment, and analysis of data, problem solving and decision making.

The 15 Programme Outcomes (POs) of the BE (Agricultural and Biosystem) They are related to the students abilities to:

1. apply knowledge of mathematics and engineering sciences 2. design and conduct experiment 3. analyze and interpret data 4. design a system, component or process to meet a requirement 5. apply the principles of sustainable design and development 6. function effectively as an individual in a group 7. demonstrate the characteristics of a leader or a manager 8. identify, formulate and provide creative/innovative/effective solution to a problem 9. explain professional and ethical responsibility 10. communicate effectively with engineers, other professionals and community at large 11. explain the impact of engineering solutions on the society, culture and environment 12. recognize the need for and able to engage in lifelong learning 13. discuss the relevant contemporary issues 14. use the skills, techniques and modern engineering tools for engineering practice 15. Solve problems in advanced design and development.

The PEO of the BE (Agricultural and Biosystem) are:

1. To produce graduates in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering as well as Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering who will have a strong scientific background and are innovative, technically and professionally competent, multi-skilled and well-respected.

2. To produce graduates who are able to progress and become successful future industry and social community leaders.

3. To produce graduates that is able to adapt to the international and global work environment as well as to pursue research and lifelong learning.
