Central Power Research Institute, Bangalore The crane shall be mobile type with minimum capacity of 10 tonne. The structural design shall be broadly as per IS:4573/1982. The Machine shall be provided with all: weather cabin, front bumper, rear view mirrors, tools and tackle box, battery cut off etc. First fill of all hydraulic oils and battery shall be supplied. Normal spares like grease can, spanner set shall be supplied. Preferably the manufacturer shall have ISO accreditation. The crane will be used in a high voltage Cables laboratory for lifting and placing equipments like cable terminations, bus ducts, isolators, CTs, PTs etc.

Heavy duty transmission for crane application with mesh, spur teeth gearbox, travel speed of 25 kmph. Shall have a minimum turning radius of approximately 5 metres. Shall be of suitable design. Heavy duty, two part box type hydraulically operated. Shall be minimum of 8 tonnes. Suitable heavy duty tyres Safety hydraulic brakes to be provided to on hoist for stop or lift loads with the winch hoist. Special device shall be provided for hose protection for lift cylinders . a) Shall comprise of travel, Pin Vane Type Hydraulic pump. etc. b) 4 spool control valve with built in pressure relief for precision control. c) Proportional control type control valve, hydraulically operated through joy stick for lifting / lowering operations. Warranty Service

Minimum one year for the overall product or 1000 hours of operation with guaranteed replacement of vital parts in case of failure, free of cost. Service to be provided by local authorized agents for repair and maintenance in case of instrument breakdown or technical problems
