Genau abgestimmte Gie- und Warmwalzparameter, computergesteuerte Fertigungssysteme mit integrierten Regelkreisen fr die automatische Mafindung sowie die przise Steuerung der Kaltwalzwerke und rechnergesteuerte Glhprozesse garantieren hchste Qualitt. Mehr noch: Umfangreiche Laborprfungen begleiten die gesamte Fertigung und ermglichen die exakte Abstimmung der kennwertbeeinflussenden Parameter. Magnetic and technological properties

Trust us we really leave nothing to chance when it comes to the production of cold-rolled electrical steel. Therefore we can guarantee the superior quality for which we are known. Our stateof-the-art CIM manufacturing systems have integrated control circuits to ensure dimensional accuracy. All our cold rolling mills are equipped with advanced control systems. Even the annealing processes are computer controlled. But there is more. Extensive laboratory tests accompany the entire production process. Thus the coordination of critical parameters is facilitated. Finally, in our production processes each product can be traced down to the raw material level. This does not only guarantee perfect quality for each individual order, but it also means that each order can be easily reproduced.

High technological products require technological high quality raw material. The need to develop more efficient and cost-optimized alternative drive trains for e-mobility in the automotive sector also creates the opportunity for C.D. Wlzholz to strike new paths in the domain of electrical steel. As a result of our development we are able to provide materials with high frequency qualification and high mechanical properties. Our material meets the characteristics of todays heavy-duty Hybrid and E-traction engines, but we also look to exceed these charac ter istics well into the future. Anforderungen, die noch vor Jahren unvereinbar schienen, las sen sich heute mit dem richtigen Know-how umsetzen, so etwa niedri ge Ummagnetisierungsverluste in Verbindung mit hoher Permeabilitt. Unsere HP und CDW-Perm Gten in lackisolierter und blanker Aus fhrung ermglichen die Vereinbarung eigentlich gegenstzlicher Anforderungen fr die Entwicklung modernster elektrischer Maschinen. Die CDW-Perm Gten zeichnen sich darber hinaus durch deutlich erhhte Wrmeleitfhigkeit und verbesserte Stanzbarkeit aus.

Curious about the future the development of high permeable grades

Only a few years ago there were a number of goals and require ments, which seemed incongruous and incompatible. Now, for C.D. Wlzholz, they are no longer a problem. Take the need for low core losses in conjunction with high permeability, for example. Our grades HP and CDW-Perm are a good example for the fact that we can actually play a major role in the development of modern electrical equipment. Additionally the grades CDW-Perm are characterized by a significantly improved thermal conductivity and an improved punchability.

Kein Widerspruch konomie und kologie bei Lacksystemen

Auch bei den Isolationslacken haben Sie die Wahl zwischen unseren klassisch bestehenden und eigens fr Ihre speziellen Anforderungen entwickelten Systemen. Neben den primren Isolationseigenschaften optimieren wir durch kontinuierlich verbesserte Lacksysteme auch die Verarbeitungseigenschaften wie Stanzbarkeit und Schweibarkeit des Elektrobandes. Statt einer strikten Trennung zwischen organischen und anorganischen Lacken steht heute die Kombination dieser Substanzen im Vordergrund unserer Entwicklungsarbeit. In einem intensiven Dialog mit Kunden und Herstellern entstehen neue Produkte, die przise auf die spezifischen Anforderungen der verschiedenen Verarbeitungsprozesse abgestimmt sind. Umweltschutz hat Tradition bei uns, und so setzen wir heute fast ausschlielich auf wasserlsliche Lacksysteme. Diese Lacke enthalten keine deklarationspflichtigen bzw. fr Mensch oder Umwelt schdliche Substanzen. Wir schaffen die Verbindung von konomie und kologie fr gute und sichere Produkte.

No contradiction our coating systems combine economy with ecology

It is the customer who makes the important choices even with regards to insulation coating. Do you prefer one of our standard insulation systems or an insulation system just for your special needs? No problem. We continuously improve our coating systems by optimising processing qualities like punching properties and weldability as well. We do not think much of strictly separating between organic and inorganic coatings, and we are convinced that a combination of both should be the main focus of development. As a result of an intensive dialogue with customers and manufacturers alike, new and innovative products emerge. They are precisely tailored to different processing requirements. Environmental protection has always been important to C.D. Wlzholz. Therefore we scarcely use anything else but water-soluble coating systems. You can rest assured that our coatings do not contain substances which require declaration or are harmful to either people or environment. C.D. Wlzholz has managed to combine economy and ecology in order to produce safe products of outstanding quality.

Wichtige Eigenschaften des Backlacks: Kein Austreten von Lack bei der Verklebung Wasserlsliches Lacksystem Sehr gutes Stanz- / Laser-Verhalten Kombinierbarkeit mit anderen Lacksystemen Przision und Stabilitt von Lamellenpaketen sind relevant fr die Verlustminimierung und den magnetischen Fluss. Die wasserlslichen Lacksysteme von CDW haben sich im Hinblick auf diese Fakto ren in den letzten Jahren als wichtige Lsung etabliert. Die CDW-Backlacktechnik verfolgt den Ansatz einer kontaktfreien, vollflchigen und belastbaren Verbindung uerst konsequent. Der spezielle Elektroblechlack ermglicht prozesssichere Systeme mit hohen Klebefestigkeiten. Die Vorteile: Der Magnetfluss wird nicht durch Schweinhte oder die fr das Stanzpaketieren notwendigen Ausnehmungen unterbrochen. Zudem bietet die Technologie eine geringe Geruschentwicklung und eine hhere Dichtheit des Paketes. Die Kombinierbarkeit mit anderen Lacksystemen und eine Verarbeitung in Durchlaufprozessen ermglichen den flexiblen Einsatz von Backlack auch bei groen Stckzahlen.

Over the last past years, this type of solution has been well-established in the market. No other technology pursues the background of non-contact, holohedral and re sis tant bonding as consequent as the CDW Bonding varnish technology. The method provides an advantage in noise reduction and in higher impermeability of the stacks. Such densities cannot be achieved through other types of bonding as welding, punch-stacking, riveting or clamping. The compatibility with different insulation systems and utilizing serial processing allows the flexible use of CDWs bonding varnish. Last but not least large volumes in continuous processes are no longer a vision.

Polbleche und Magnetweicheisen technische Sonderlsungen aus Tradition

C.D. Wlzholz bietet seinen Kunden eine breite Palette von Pol blechen nach DINEN10265 mit definierten mechanischen Eigen schaf ten fr den Einsatz als Abschlussblech im Elektroan lagenbau. Zudem produzieren wir Magnetweicheisen in verschiedenen Gteklassen (RFe-Gten) gem DIN 17405 bzw. DIN EN 10304 mit definierten Koerzitivfeldstrken, fr den Einsatz in elektrischen Schaltsystemen.

Pole sheets and Magnetic soft iron technically costumised product groups
C.D. Wlzholz traditionally offers a wide variety of pole sheets according to DINEN10265 with defined mechanical properties to their costumers. Pole sheets are used in the plant engineering as end cover plates. In addition we produce soft magnetic materials in different nominal grades (RFe-grades) according to DIN17406 and accordingly DINEN10304 with defined coercive force. Magnetic soft irons are used in electrical circuits.

Przision in der Fertigung ist fr uns so selbstverstndlich wie hohe Qualitt. Wir nutzen deshalb unsere computergesteuerten Fertigungssysteme mit integrierten Regelkreisen fr die automatische Mafindung. Die Matoleranzen von Band- und Tafelmaterialien entsprechen der EN 10106. Auch hier sind nach individuellen Kundenwnschen Sondervarianten leicht zu realisieren.

Lets be precise our tolerances

It goes without saying that production precision is just as important to us at C.D. Wlzholz as our high quality. Therefore we use computer-controlled production systems with integrated control circuits for automatic dimension measurement. Dimension tolerances of strip and sheet materials correspond to EN10106 steel standard. Other tolerances can be easily produced according to the individual and specific requirements of our customers.

Am laufenden Band effiziente Produktion mit Packenringen

Die Entwicklung hochwertiger Werkstoffe wird ergnzt durch gemeinsame Optimierung der wirtschaftlichen Produktionsprozesse unserer Kunden. Ein gutes Beispiel hierfr ist die kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung unserer patentierten Packenringe. Wir haben die Lauflnge der einzelnen Bnder von 1.000 auf bis zu 30.000 m erhht. Die Mglichkeit, die Bnder auerdem durch moderne Schweitechnik zu verbinden und rechnergesteuert oszillierend aufzuhaspeln, machen diese Ringaufmachungen zu einem Turbo fr die Produktion unserer Kunden. Bis zu 30fach verlngerte Laufzeiten minimieren personalintensive Rstzeiten sowie unrentable Maschinenstillstandzeiten. Die Vorteile unserer Elektroband-Packenringe: Bandbreiten bis zu 70mm Verlngerung der Lauflnge bis zum 30fachen Individuelle Verlegebreiten zwischen 250 und 550mm Jumbo-Coils bis zu 3.500kg

Long strip running efficient production with oscillated wound coils

One of our main objectives at C.D. Wlzholz is the development of high-quality materials. However, we also aim at enhancing the efficiency of our customers production processes. A good example is the continuous further development of our patented oscillated wound coils. We have managed to increase the length of the individual steel strips from 1,000 to 30,000 metres. Moreover, steel strips can now be joined by means of modern welding technology. These processes as well as our computer-controlled oscillating winding procedure increase the efficiency of our customers production enormously. Operating times are 30times longer now which means that labourintensive set-up times and unprofitable shutdown times are minimized. The advantages of our oscillated wound electrical steel coils are: Strip widths of up to 70mm Operating times 30 times longer Individual coil widths of 250mm - 550mm Jumbo coils with a weight of up to 3,500kg

In order to make sure that the electrical steel strip reaches our customers in an immaculate condition we guarantee the highest quality as regards packaging, storage and transport as well.

Neben Transportmittel, Wetterbedingungen und Dauer des Transportes bercksichtigen wir auch hier die besonderen Wnsche unserer Kunden. Qualifizierte Mitarbeiter stellen sicher, dass durch den Einsatz modernste Verpackungsanlagen im Zusammenspiel mit unterschiedlichsten Verpackungsmaterialien optimale Systeme zum Schutz unserer hochwertigen Elektrobandwerkstoffe entstehen. Und auch hier spielt der verantwortungsvolle Umgang mit Ressourcen und der Schutz der Umwelt eine wichtige Rolle. Daher verwenden wir in Abstimmung mit unseren Kunden nur so viel Verpackungsmaterial wie unbedingt notwendig ist. Vielseitige, speziell fr CDW gefertigte Paletten nach IPPC-Standard stehen fr Palettenverpackungen zur Verfgung, und bieten hinsichtlich Belastbarkeit und Gre die perfekte Basis fr liegende oder stehende Coils sowie Tafelmaterial. Je nach Bedarf werden unsere Produkte mit Papier oder Folie, bei besonders hohen Anforderungen an den Korrosionsschutz mit VCIPapier ummantelt. Vor mechanischen Einwirkungen schtzen wir unser Elektroband mit Kantenschutzblechen und Hartfaserronden. Die so optimal geschtzten Elektrobandwerkstoffe werden unmittelbar nach dem Verpackungsprozess in unseren vollautomatischen, EDV-gesteuerten Flchen- oder Hochregallagern zum weiteren Transport an Ihren Bestimmungsort bereitgestellt. Ausgewhlte Logistikpartner sorgen dafr, dass das Material zuverlssig und im einwandfreien Zustand unsere Kunden erreicht. Selbstverstndlich sind wir AEO-zertifiziert und damit ein sicherer Teilnehmer in der internationalen Transportkette.

Packaging is arranged to suit our customers requests as well as to meet the individual requirements of different means of trans portation itinerary and journey time. A wide range of packing materials, automatic packaging equipment and our qualified staff ensure that packing will always meet all the requirements. In order to protect the environment we only use as much packaging material as is really necessary. We supply electrical steel strip as sheets and as coils with ver tical and horizontal winding axis. We can select from a large number of pallets with IPPC standard especially manufactured for C.D. Wlzholz. Thus the ideal ground packaging as to toughness, size and coilage can be chosen. Depending on the respective requirements our material is covered with paper and/or foil. In case of stricter requirements as to corrosion protection we use VCI paper. Our electrical steel strip is protected against mechanical influences by means of edge protection sheets and hard fibre material. The material we produce will always remain in immaculate condition due to a well coordinated computer-assisted storage system. Immediately after packaging the material is stored in our area storage or fully automated high-bay storage system. Distinguished logistics partners as well as safe cargo tie-down pro cedures ensure that the material reaches our customers in imma c u late condition. As a matter of course we are certified according to AEO, and are therefore a safe participant in the international transport chain.
