(See Sub-Rules (8) of the rule 9 of the Tamilnadu Co-operative societies rules 1988) Certificate of Registration of amendment of By-Laws under sub-section (5) of section 11 of the Tamilnadu Co-operative societies Act 1983 ( Tamilnadu Co-operative societies Act of 1983) I hereby certify that under sub-section (5) of section 11 of the Tamilnadu Cooperative societies act 1983, (Tamilnadu Act 30 of 1983 ) the amendment of the by-laws of the D.D.132 The Dharmapuri District Agricultural Engineering Department Employees Cooerative thrift and credit society Ltd, Dharmapuri registered by me as shown below

BYLAW NO : 17
As Existing The executive Management of society shall vest in a board consisting 7 (seven) Directors of whom not less than 2 shall be women and 1 shall belong to scheduled caste or scheduled tribes. As Amended The Executive Management of the Society shall vest in a board consiting of Eleven Directors whom not less than three shall women and not less than two shall belongs to scheduled caste/scheduled tribes.

BYLAW NO : 18

SPECIAL BYLAW 8 (i)


As Existing Every employee regularized or confirmed in the service of the society shall also be entitled to sick leave at the rate of eighteen days for every 12 months of service subject to a maximum of three hundred and sixty five days during the entire service of the employee , the sick leave shall be limited of service of the paid office or servant as specified below . If the Society is working five days in a week, the employee of the Society shall be entitled Casual Leave not exceeding 12 days in a year. For temporary hands who are likely to be ousted at any time , their eligibility for casual leave shall be calculated with reference to the period actually spent on duty and shall be proportionately limited.

As Amended Sickleave/medical Leave 1. Every employee of the society shall also be entiled to sick leave on any reasonable ground at the rate of eighteen days for every twelve months of service subject to a maximum of five hundred and forty days during the entire service of the employee. The sick leave shall be limited to commensurate with the length of service of the paid employee as specified below. As Existing As Amended GRATUITY : 1. The Society shall pay gratuity to the employees not exceeding to the maximum amount in accordance with the provisions of the payment of Gratuity Act 1972 (Central Act 39 of 1972) whether or not this Act is applicable to the society. 2. The Board Management shall at the option of the employees of the society implement a Group Gratuity Scheme in consultation with LIC of India or any other organization and terms and the conditions in operation in such schemes shall apply to the employees of the society.

As Existing As Amended 1. It shall be competent to the Board of Directors to sanction Festival advance to the employees of the Society subject to the following conditions. i) ii) The festival Advance shall be sanctioned once in a year. The festival advance should not exceed rupees eight thousand or the amount fixed by the Registrar/ Government from time to times. The amount of advance shall be recovered in not more than ten equal installments. As Amended :

1.1. Marriage Loan : Not more than two loans in their entire carrier subject to following conditions. For Male Employees : 1. Self Marriage : 20,000/2. Son Marriage : 20,000/3. Daughter Marriage : 30 ,000/For Women Employees : 1. Self Marriage : 30,000/2. Son Marriage : 20,000/3. Daughter Marriage : 30 ,000/1.2. Vehicle Loan Eighty Percent of the value of the vehicle or rupees fifty thousand Whichever is least. 3. Loans granted under the Bylaw 1.1 and 1.2 shall carry simple Interest at the rate not more than the prevailing rate of interest on Fixed deposit admissible to the members at the time of Disbursement of the loan. 4. The Loan granted under Bylaw. 1.1 and 1.2 shall be repaid in not less than twelve and not more than sixty monthly installments. No. 1.2. (Vehicle loan to the employees of the society) 1. Application shall be made in the prescribed form issued by The Society accompanying a quotation from the authorized Dealer of the vehicle.

2. No employee shall be given a loan under the scheme unless he has put in at-least three years service in the Society. 3. The amount should not exceed as prescribed in the Bylaw. 4. The employee of the society should have leftover service Of not less than 12 months. If the leftover service is less Than 12 months it may consider sanctioning the loan to the employee , on case to case basis , by increasing the installments amount , if the carry home salary remains 25% after deduction of all the loans. The employee who prescribed , installments will be restricted proportionately to the extent of their service in the society. 5. The repayment period will commence succeeding the month Of disbursement of the loan. 6. The vehicle purchased shall be covered by a comprehensive i Insurance Policy taken from the insurance company during the entire period of loan. The employee shall annually produce the insurance certificate to the society for verification. 7. The R.C. Book must be produced to the society at least

Once in three months. The vehicle is subject to periodical as well as surprise inspection by the officials of the society. The employees shall be given an undertaking to that effect. 8. The employee shall keep the vehicle in good condition and In order during the tenure of the loan. 9. The societys lien on the vehicle would be recorded on the Relevant registration certificate. 10. The vehicle shall not be transferred , sold or otherwise Disposed off without the prior written permission of the Society till the loan due to the Society is cleared with Interest , provided that the sale proceeds shall be used to clear the loan and interest if any to the extent outstanding. 11. In the case of termination of the employees service for any Reason before the normal closure of the loan as stipulated herein , it shall be open to the society to recover the entire balance from the net salary due to the employee and from the provident fund or gratuity of any other amount due to him from the society. 12. No employee shall be sanctioned more than one loan at a Time and no fresh loan will be given when the original loan is outstanding. 13. It shall be open to the society to foreclose the loan at any Time if any or all these rules are violated by the employee.
