2. Hazards Identification
Emergency overview CAUTION: Sensitizing effects by skin contact. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Vapors may irritate eyes and respiratory tract and result in headache or dizziness. Acute exposure to petroleum distillate vapour may cause dizziness, drowsiness, headache, nausea, and irritation of the respiratory tract. Prolonged and repeated exposure may cause central nervous system damage, as well as heart and blood disorders. Aspiration of petroleum distillates may cause chemical pneumonitis. Eye irritant. Skin Irritant Caution - Slippery when wet!

4. First-Aid Measures
General advice: Immediately remove contaminated clothing. If inhaled: Keep patient calm, remove to fresh air. Assist in breathing if necessary. Consult a physician. If on skin: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. If irritation develops, seek medical attention. If in eyes: Immediately wash affected eyes for at least 15 minutes under running water with eyelids held open, consult an eye specialist. If swallowed: Rinse mouth thoroughly with water, seek medical attention. Note to physician Treatment:

If packed in a container with a capacity of 3,500 gallons or more, the Communication Requirements at 49 CFR 130.11 and the Response Plan Requirements at 49 CFR 130.31 and 130.33 apply to Domestic transportation by motor vehicles and rolling stock.
