Dr. Joann Hoza has a Ph.D. in Psychology (Clinical) and has been the Director of Clinical Services for Hope Haven Childrens Clinical and Family Center since 1991. Dr. Michael De La Hunt, MD is the Division Chief for the Division of Psychology & Psychiatry for Nemours Childrens Clinic in Jacksonville and the Medical Director for pediatric mental health services at Wolfson Childrens Hospital. Dr. Michael Sisbarro is a state licensed school psychologist and is a charter member of the National Physicians Consortium in Attention Deficit Disorders. He has been in private practice in Jacksonville for over 25 years. 4 CEUs for Florida Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists will be provided by Child Guidance Center, Provider #50-367

ADHD is one of the most common neurobehavioral disorders of childhood. It is usually first diagnosed in childhood and often lasts into adulthood. Children with ADHD may have trouble paying attention, controlling impulsive behaviors (may act without thinking about what the result will be), or be overly active. This four (4)-hour training will provide information on the assessment and treatment of ADHD and dyslexia in children and adolescents, and give participants a true understanding of how they affect individuals and their families.
