Campaign P.O.S
I created a campaign that would be used by a company to promote all areas of their brand. This project gave me opportunity to develop my promotional and creative technique, whilst improving my presentation and technical skills. I also ensured my project was completed within the time frame given. I produced a postcard campaign for super brand Selfridges home, fashion, beauty and food departments. These postcards had to represent the brand but also have purpose. I ensure postcards were made to exact size and displayed appropriately. I ensured my presentation skills were perfected and that my final pieces were Selfridges worthy and industry ready

Narrative
In a group I was given a famous portrait image produced by Ford Madox Brown. In our groups we were then to recreate that entire portrait and ensure it looked as close to the original as possible. In doing this we had to source everything; models, location and props. This imagery was then to be used in the promotional material of a company that would be able to relate to the image we chose John Lewis due to the family feel. This project helped me develop my teamwork skills, ability to work on a photo shoot and also developed my CAD skills as these were needed to create the final piece.

Trend Prediction & Colour Forecasting


I developed my understanding of the role trend prediction has within Fashion and Fashion Promotion alike in doing this project. I was firstly working in a team to create A2 theme boards based around the current (Oct 2012) trends seen on WGSN. From these boards I selected two trends which inspired me the most, and expanded on them by using my own photography and sourced materials to create a trend booklet for both trends. My booklets summarised each theme and colour palette that depicted t hat specific trend. Both these booklets had to relate to their chosen brand, I chose N.D.A for American Apparel and Next Nature for Me&Yu.

Social Media
During this brief I was introduced to industry set briefs. I developed my visual communication and it gave me the opportunity to work within a team. I also had the chance to give a group presentation, developing my verbal and preparation skills. For this brief with the category of health, I, in a team of three researched into popular health brands in the current market. We then went on to discuss how they are using social media effectively, who their target customer is and also looked into their current/previous case studies.

Show Off Magazine


This brief was to produce a publication called SHOW OFF, this publication would be used in promoting the fashion promotion courses. I received the role of Fashion team leader. Our team created the fashion story for the magazine, which was spread across five pages and set the theme for the entire magazine. We were to set the styling of the images and source everything from props and models to location and clothing. As a leader I also had the task of delegating roles and workload. I also took on the role of photo shoot director on the day. My team ensured we created the best imagery possible for the magazine.

Brand Development
To was to launch a new range for a fashion brand currently selling on the high street. I researched into the brands core product and which type of brand extension would benefit them. The range was theoretical but I ensured it was a believable and conceivable direction for the company, that would have a place within their stores. I produced all packaging and promotional material for the launch of the product, including online and offline promotion such as the Website and in store graphics. This brief also asked me to develop a fashion report which demonstrated all research in a concise and professional format.

Big Yellow Camper Company Launch Campaign


This project gained myself more experience in industry set briefs, ensuring I developed my visual communication and writing skills. It also aided in bettering my time management and helped me become more confident in giving verbal presentations. I was to create the entire launch for a company that rents VW Campervans called Big Yellow Camper Company I was to research into their brand competition and also define exactly what the brand stood for, using colour, fonts, imagery etc. I was to define their core customer and why they would use this company. I also created the online and offline promotional material for the company including a unique invite for the brands launch in 2014.
