Script The animals are in France where a group of agents from the Animal Control Service are chasing them. The scene begins with the sound of sirens. The animals enter the room running along a train station. On the edge of the stage is the door of a train wagon (it can be a curtain). The four characters stay under the stage. Gloria: Oh no! The cops! Marty: What are we going to do?! Alex: We need to run! Run! Gloria: How are we going to escape? You know this isnt Africa! Melman: Tell me one way that big animals like us can move through Europe Marty: without attracting unwanted attention! All the animals approach the train gate and stare at the sign which says: Circus Zaragoza Vitali: (He opens train gate and leans forward) Where are you coming from? Alex: You have to hide us! Just until the police stop chasing us! Vitali: Absolutely no outsiders! So turn around and pop off! Alex: Come on, buddy! You have to help us! We are all animals like you! Vitali: No! This train is for circus animals only! (He shuts the gate abruptly) The animals listen to the voices coming from the wagon Gia: Come on, Vitali, they need us! Stefano: You are being very mean Vitali! Vitali: We dont invite trouble into our circus! Alex knocks on the door. Stefano opens the door and sticks his head out) Stefano: Hes at the phone right now. He cant talk to you. (He shuts the door again) Sound of train leaving. The curtains move to the right. The animals run. Alex knocks on the gate. Sound of sirens approaching. Six cops on bicycles enter the room from the rare. As the animals run, the officers hold their torches and look for them among the crowd. Alex: No! Wait! We are circus animals! Gia opens the gate

Gia: Are you really circus animals? All: Yes, we are!!! Vitali: Gia! Shut the door! Gloria: Please! Vitali and Stefano are standing next to Gia. Gia: They are circus animals. Circus animals help each other. The animals get on the wagon. The curtains close. The police officers keep on searching among the crowd but cannot find the animals. Everything is silent now. Cop 1: Where are they? Cop 2: I cant see them! Cop 3: They escaped! Captain DuBois: That lion escaped again! Keep searching! They cant go very far! Cop 4: Quickly! Lets go! Cops: Dont worry Captain! Well find them! All the cops take their bikes and leave. The curtains open wide. Vitali, Stefano and Gia are standing on the right and the four runaways are standing on the left. Vitali is playing with his paper planes. The penguins enter the stage. Skipper: Well, well, well. Less talk more haste. Kowalzki! Turn the music on! Kowalzki: Yes, Sir! Right away! Skipper: Rico! Turn on the lights! Rico: Got it, Sir! Skipper: Private! Tell the audience to clap! Private: Yes, Sir! (Addressing the audience) Ladies and gentleman: clap your hands! Rico opens the curtain. All the characters appear and dance. The song Fireworks by Katy Perry begins. All the animals dance. When the song finishes two students walk along the stage carrying a big sign which says New York City. Two other students reveal the last scenery which shows the zoo gates. All the animals leave but the four newyorkers stay. After the dance the animals are at the zoo gate. They look sad.

Alex: Well, finally, here we are. At home! Marty: Why do I feel so sad? Gloria: I miss the circus. Melman: Me too. It was fun! Now we will only stay in our cages. Marty: Sleeping all day! Alex: Ive got an idea! Lets go back to the circus! Sound of sirens approaching. The six cops enter the room on their bikes. The animals fall asleep because they have been shot darts. When Captain DuBois is about to cut Alexs head the animals from the circus appear and save him. They all dance together and take the officers behind the zoo gates (therefore, the last scenery should be transparent). The end!
