Syllabus: Entrepreneurship

Purpose of the Course The basics of entrepreneurship and economic growth are introduced. Additionally, students get an overview of psychological, economic and business related topics. Learning objectives This module provides students with the knowledge and skills to write a business plan and to successfully found an enterprise. Target audience Students of the bachelor program Economics or Business Informatics may sign up for this subject as a compulsory module (4 SWS, 5 ECTS points). Diploma students can credit this subject as a General Business"-class. Lecturer/Lecture Prof. Dr. Marcus Wagner Lecture: 2 hours on a weekly basis Lecturers Bios Marcus Wagner studied engineering, business administration and economics. He holds Master degrees in economics and business administration. In 2003 he was awarded his PhD from the University of Lneburg and subsequently obtained his habilitation at the Technical University (TU) Munich. Since 2009 he holds the Chair in Entrepreneurship and Corporate Growth at the Department of Economics and Business Administration which he had already deputized since October 2008.
