The Viciously war loving Assyrian Empire

Based on the evidence I have found, I found that the great Assyrian Empire that lasted from 911-612 B.C.E were more intelligent in war compared to the Babylonians. For Example, like how when in war they used and were one of first, to use the siege technique. Along with the Assyrians being very intelligent in war they over the long corpse of ruling the Assyrians were first led by a very powerful king in Shamashi-Adad I. The Assyrians also ruled the most amount of land in the land of the present day country of Iraq. In fact their largest extension span of land they ruled was in 671 B.C.E. Even though that the Assyrians were very war loving the Assyrians still believed in religion, They were artist, and advanced in technology a lot. One way how they were religious and artistic is because of the sculptures in bass reliefs. One other reason of how they were just artistic was how they used ivory to decorate; chairs, doors, thrones, and beds. The Assyrians werent just artist, they were also very advanced in technology. For example like how they dug canals to irrigate the land. Another improvement in technology was the materials they use to build one of the earliest aqueducts. Like I have said, the Assyrians have loved war. They werent just good at it they were also very clever with it. One way they were clever was by being the first to use battering rams and the siege technique. The Assyrians also perfected the use of horses in war. The Assyrians also used chariots and wagons when in war. These techniques gave them a lot of options to choose from when they were in battle. Later on in the future when the Assyrians had technological advances, they were the first to use iron. A couple of things they used iron for; swords, shields, spears, and armor. The Assyrians were very tough, but they were also humans and spoke languages. The most common language they spoke is Aramiac also know as Syriac.

Like I said before the Assyrians ruled a large amount of Mesopotamia, and in that large amount of land they owned there once happened to be a population of 4,036,250 people. With all of those people most, under the ruling of the Assyrians, most of them were Christian and believed in the gods and their god its self. The Assyrians were not very respectful to women non-like the Babylonians who were. Like I said earlier, based on my research I found that the Assyrians achieved more than the Babylonians, did in the ancient near east time of Mesopotamia. I found this because in the essay I gave all of my facts and feel like I couldnt have put more. Like how they were so great in ruling, and had a large population of people in the nation they ruled. But the thing I love the most is whenever I think of large population states or when we go into war, I think about the Assyrians. The reason I love that the most is because that is ever lasting.
