1. Substance Identification / Preparation and Company. EXPOPET RESINS (BOTTLE GRADE): For packing applications and others. 2. Composition - information on ingredients. PRODUCT INFORMATION Chemical Name: Polyethylene terephthalate Chemical Formula: HO - [(CH2)2-OOC - C6 H4 - COO-] n - (CH2)2 - OH. 3. Hazards. HAZARDS In case of overexposure, it could be dangerous by intake, inhalation or direct skin contact. It may possibly cause irritation in eyes and skin. 4. First-Aid Measures. FIRST AID MEASURES CAUSES Inhalation FIRST AID MEASURE

Breathe clean and fresh air. Be aware that symptoms of lung oedema (shortness of breath) may develop up to 24 hours after exposure. Skin contact Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with soap and plenty of water. Eye contact Immediately wash out eyes with plenty of water for minimum 15 minutes and consult a physician as soon as possible. Ingestion Wash mouth with water and consult a physician. Keep person under observation. Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, keep head low. Contact with melt polymer If burns are caused, cool melt material adhered to skin as soon as possible with cool water and seeks medical assistance immediately. 5. Fire-fighting Measures. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES All standard agents may be used e.g. Dry chemical powder, CO2 or Water. UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS None.

SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PRECAUTIONS/INSTRUCTIONS Wear self-contained breathing apparatus meeting NIOSH standards. Avoid excessive inhalation of smoke or potential thermal decomposition products. HANDLING AND STORAGE The product is available in big FIBC bags with inner polyethylene liner and outer polypropylene bag. Each FIBC has four handles on top. Additionally, it has two openings with security sealing on top and bottom. FIBCs should transport with suitable truck or container using its handles or pallets. The product should be stored in a damp proof, clean and sun protected location on leveled floor. Stacking of FIBCs can be made by placing in the first levels one over the other. Avoid climbing up on stacks. 8.Exposure Controls - Personal Protection. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS Use breathing equipment for organic vapors, goggles eyeglasses, rubber boots and gloves for heavy duties. 9. Physical and Chemical Properties.
