TheraOffice & 2013 Functional Limitation Reporting Changes Roadmap

Overview
TheraOffice Web and On-Site will both be updated for the 2013 - Functional Limitation Reporting (FLR) and additions to PQRS in 2 parts. Part 1 will be to add the new sections and tools which will allow for the G codes to be manually submitted with billing. Part 2 will be the completion and integration of Clinical Vibe a mobile app for Windows 8 and iPad to allow for patients to complete functional tests and import into TheraOffice.

New Sections
2 New Sections Will Be Added To The Document Map Outcomes & Functional Limitation Reporting

Outcomes
Outcomes section will allow for manual free form entry of functional tests, or an integration with Clinical Vibe.

If using Clinical Vibe the front desk staff can initiate from TheraOffice Scheduling which patient and tests to perform.

The therapist can then give front desk staff direction on which tests to perform, or if the patient has already used Clinical Vibe, then the tests will pre-populate with the previous tests given. The front desk staff would click the upload button.

Or if the therapist wants to perform the tests with the patient using Clinical Vibe the therapist can click the Test With Clinical Vibe button from the top toolbar in TheraOffice Documentation.

Then the therapist would choose which tests to perform on Clinical Vibe.

Next, the front desk staff or therapist launches Clinical Vibe on a Microsoft Surface, or iPad.

Next the front desk staff or therapist logs in to Clinical Vibe.

The staff member then selects a queued patient uploaded from TheraOffice.

The patient is then given the tablet where they begin the tests.

The patient continues through each test by clicking the Next button.

Patient completes each test given.

Clinical Vibe
When complete the patient returns to the therapist. Staff can quickly re-login.

Next, when the therapist completes the note in Documentation they would click the download results button and imports the tests, scores, and test category performed from Clinical Vibe.

In the Functional Limitation Reporting section, the therapist can manually enter codes, and the reporting method.

Or the therapist can click the Suggest Codes button to gather the test scores from Clinical Vibe if entered.

TheraOffice recommends the current or discharge status CPT code and the goal CPT as well as the method and modifier.

Finally, the Suggest Charges button is clicked in Charges to gather the normal treatment CPT codes along with the functional limitation codes, and PQRS codes.
