Answer:
Field Engineer: A 'field engineer' does not usually have table work rather he works in the field as a technical person. The duties of a field engineer usually pertain to equipment & machine handling issues such as repairing machine, installing equipment, etc. Vocational Rehabilitation: Vocational rehabilitation (VR) is a set of services offered to individuals with mental or physical disabilities. The purpose of such services is to enable participants to attain skills, resources, attitudes, and expectations needed to compete in the interview process, get a job, and keep a job. Services offered may also help an individual retrain for employment after an injury or mental disorder has disrupted previous employment.

Steps for Rehabilitation: The 1st step is to evaluate person. As a person with SCI of ASIA C has different limitation than a person with SCI of ASIA D. So vocational rehabilitation program can be made depending on the extent of injury. Provide all medical and physical rehabilitation assistance. SCI injury after RTA, assault, gunshot or stab leave the person psychologically impaired, so provide complete psychological rehabilitation to person. Provide assistive devices like wheel chair, walkers etc to person with paraplegia. Work of field engineer requires a lot of mobility so it may be impossible for person to retain the same job. For this purpose provide opportunity to person to increase his years of education after SCI has occurred. As it helps increase employment chances in same or different field. Provide vocational rehabilitation to this person in changing profession which includes less walking and more sitting better for person with SCI injury and paraplegia such as: A. Computer work. B. Lab technician work C. Teaching in an field engineering school Immediately after Paraplegia look for the short-term goals so that the patient goes back to work i.e. same job/different workplace.

Environmental/Community targeting in VR: Environmental Survey for its modification. Remove the barriers that stand in employment. Induce a policy according to which employment of paraplegic person can be ensured To change the negative attitude of the community awareness campaigns and workshops should be arranged. Special bounces, grants from govt. or company should be provided to the disable filed engineer to increase his income. Work place modification. Provide lifts and ramps at work place for easy access of person with paraplegia. If possible work should be modified from outdoor work to indoor work. All physical obstacles should be removed that includes family, transportation which can be removed by a special transport for person according to his disability or special seats in public transport, and special parking. Removal of stairs from work place. Etc Provide equal associability to education so as to help in changing career but studying in different field. Provide assistive devices that could help a paraplegic person to be employed in same or different field.

Assistive devices for paraplegic person: Different assistive devices for different purposes can be provided to a paraplegic person due to SCI. following are some assistive devices that can be provided to a field engineer. Walking products to aid people with disabilities that are able to walk or stand with assistance (canes, crutches, walkers, gait trainers). Seating products that assist people to sit comfortably and safely (seating systems, cushions, therapeutic seats). Wheeled mobility products that enable people with reduced mobility to move freely indoors and outdoors (Examples: wheelchairs and scooters). Standing products to support people with disabilities in the standing position while maintaining/improving their health (standing frame, standing wheelchair, active stander). Advanced technology walking products to aid people with disabilities, such as paraplegia or cerebral palsy, who would not at all able to walk or stand (exoskeletons) e. g Hybrid Assistive Limbs.
