*Information on why we will not be growing impatiens or double impatiens in 2013:

There is a fungus effecting Impatiens called DOWNEY MILDEW. It lives in the soil and is spread from plant to plant through the air. KEEP IN MIND IT ONLY AFFECTS IMPATIENS AND DOUBLE IMPATIENS. IT DOES NOT AFFECT NEW GUINEA IMPATIENS OR ANY OTHER ANNUALS. Once the plant is infected, it will die very quickly. There is nothing that can be done to save it. Newsday had a full page ad in the gardening section on Sunday September 9, 2012. The headline was The end for impatiens on L.I. You can also visit the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk for more information on Downy Mildew At ccesuffolk.org/floriculture:program (scroll down to Fact Sheets and information).

Pick up on May 21st from 12pm-5pm 84 South. Montgomery Avenue Bay Shore NY 11706
