ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Project Title : Secured and efficient ASGKA protocol for conference distributed system Language : C#.NET Description: To design an Asymmetric Group Key Agreement protocol (ASGKA) for broadcast encryption that allows a sender to efficiently and securely broadcast information to a dynamically changing group of users over an open network. When the group size is large the transmission overhead is very heavy. To reduce the transmission overhead, the group is broken into several small sub-groups which will have different session keys and the participants in the different sub-groups will be able to communicate with each other. Perfect forward security is provided by using ASGKA protocol. Secure broadcast encryption schemes with short cipher text and a private key for arbitrary receiver sets is constructed. It is vital for an ASGKA to withstand the attacks from active adversaries. The main challenge in building efficient broadcast systems is to encrypt message with transmission overhead and it is reduced by short cipher text. One-round key agreement protocol which has several advantages over two round key agreement protocol is used in the project.
