Trkiye For Education
Trkiye is one of the two countries which have lands both in Asia and Europe in the world. This characteristic enables Trkiye to carry different cultures and world view. Trkiye has a pluralist structure ranging from its architecture to music, food culture to literature. Trkiye actively take role in regional and global developments while stay on the course for EU membership. Trkiye always has been in the center of the events which change the course of history and host civilizations affected humankind. Trkiye considers that contributing to the peace of civilizations with its different colors is one of its primary purpose. Trkiye contains natural beauty beyond comparison and four seasons within itself. In addition to these, Trkiye made a distinguished name in recent years for its successes in economic and social issues. Trkiye is one of the fastest growing countries in economy of the World and has 6th largest economy of Europe and 16th largest economy of the world. Trkiye opens its universities for international students from all around the world with Trkiye Scholarships. Scholarship with vast opportunities and education in qualified Turkish universities will help you to gain new perspectives and to suit yourselves with new abilities making you be one step ahead of others in your career. Trkiye scholarship is a non-refundable grant and provided at higher education for international students. The aim of Trkiye Scholarships is to improve mutual understanding with other countries and to contribute richness of global information with people oriented approach. Candidates can only apply online via Trkiye Scholarship web sites: www.turkiyeburslari. gov.tr and www.trscholarships.org Applications will be considered according to candidates academic success and successful candidates will be invited for face to face or online interviews. Information for the interviews will be send to candidates e-mail addresses that they used for application. Students who are selected for the scholarship will continue their education in a suitable department that they have academic background.

Opportunities
Trkiye scholarships consist of these opportunities: Monthly Pocket Money For Vocational School Students 500 TL (approximately 300 USD) per month For Undergraduate Students 500 TL (approximately 300 USD) per month For Masters Students 750 TL (approximately 450 USD) per month For Ph.D. Students 1000 TL (approximately 575 USD) per month Housing Trkiye Scholarship students can stay in public university dormitories without paying any fee. Students who do not want to stay in these dormitories can use other housing possibilities on their own expenses. Tuition Fee Trkiye Scholarship students do not pay any tuition or university fee for education. Health Expenses Trkiye Scholarship students are covered by public health insurance. Turkish Language Course Trkiye Scholarship Students take Turkish language course for one year if they do not have proof of Turkish Language knowledge. Students who are placed in departments which instruct in other languages than Turkish also must take Turkish Language Course. Transportation Trkiye Scholarship students will get certain amount of money for their transportation expenses at their first arrival to Trkiye and departure after graduation from Trkiye.
Application Requirements
Candidates who have graduated or are likely to graduate from an educational institution equivalent to that of Trkiyes in the present academic (i.e. bachelors degree for masters level) can apply to Trkiye Scholarships. There is also age condition for candidates required to meet: for undergraduate level, applicants who were born no earlier than 01.01.1992, for masters level applicants who were born no earlier than 01.01.1983, for Ph.D. level applicants who were born no earlier than 01.01.1978. It is expected to have certain academic score from candidates for each program and level. You can find specific minumum score of the program that you are applying at assessment and selection section. Students who are currently studying in Trkiye are not allowed to apply to the level that they are already studying. Anyone holding or ever held Turkish citizenship cannot apply for this scholarship program Trkiye scholarships are open for all country citizens who meet these conditions. Application can only be made online via this website.

Assessment and Selection

The selection of candidates is carried out according to academic achievement and interview performance. Trkiye Scholarships is a program based on academic success of the candidates. Academc criteria of the applicants will be measured according to these documents: Diploma Grade General Average Grades Received Until The Last Term (*) University Entrance Exam Grade (if any) High School Graduation Exam / Baccalaureate Grade (if any) International Test Score (if any) Other academic assessment score (*) cumulative GPA Candidates must have at least For vocational school applications 70 % For Undergraduate applications 70 % For Masters and Ph.D. 75 % For Medicine 90 % weighted grade point average over their maximum graduation grade. Candidates among those who completed the application fully will be invited to interview according to their academic success. Interview information will be delivered by e-mails and online application system. Interviews will be held face to face or via communication tools in the countries without Turkish Consulates or Embassies.

I. Undergraduate Scholarships
Turkic Speaking Countries Undergraduate Scholarship Program Turkic Speaking Countries Undergraduate Scholarship Program is only for the citizens of following countries: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and provided at undergraduate level. All undergraduate programs other than Medical Sciences, Islamic Theology and Turkish Language and Literature are offered in this scholarship program.

Black Sea Undergraduate Scholarship Program Black Sea Undergraduate Scholarship Program is only for the citizens of following countries: Belarus, Czech Republic, Hungary, Armenia, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Mongolia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia and Ukraine. All undergraduate programs other than Medical Sciences, Islamic Theology and Turkish Language and Literature are offered in this scholarship program. Balkans Undergraduate Scholarship Program Balkans Undergraduate Scholarship Program is only for the citizens of following countries: Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia and Greece. All undergraduate programs other than Medical Sciences, Islamic Theology and Turkish Language and Literature are offered in this scholarship program. Harran Undergraduate Scholarship Program Harran Undergraduate Scholarship Program is only for the citizens of following countries: Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Pakistan, Syria, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Jordan, Palestine and Yemen. All undergraduate programs other than Medical Sciences, Islamic Theology and Turkish Language and Literature are offered in this scholarship program. Trkiye Africa Undergraduate Scholarship Program Trkiye Africa Undergraduate Scholarship Program is only for the citizens of following countries: Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina, Faso, Burundi, Algeria, Djibouti, Chad, Ethiopia, Morocco, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Union of Comoros, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Libya, Madagascar, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Central Africa, Senegal, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Cameroon, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritius, Mauritania, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, Sierra Leona, Somalia, Swaziland, Togo, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Sudan, South Sudan, Eritrea, Rwanda, Cape Verde of Democratic Republic of So Tom and Prncipe. Bosphorus Undergraduate Scholarship Program Bosphorus Undergraduate Scholarship Program is only for the citizens of following countries: Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Peoples Republic of China, South Korea, India, Japan, Qatar, Kuwait, Mexico, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Philippines, Cambodia, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominic Republic, Dominica, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and Grenadines, Trinidad

All undergradute programs other than Medical Sciences, Islamic Theology and Turkish Language and Literature are offered in this scholarship program. Anatolian Undergraduate Scholarship Program Anatolian Undergraduate Scholarship Program is only for the citizens of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus the non-Turkish citizens who have completed their secondary education in Trkiye. All undergraduate programs other than Medical Sciences, Islamic Theology and Turkish Language and Literature are offered in this scholarship program.
II. Postgraduate Scholarships

bni Haldun Social Sciences Graduate Scholarship bni Haldun Social Sciences Graduate Scholarship is designed for students who are willing to study at the field of social sciences. This program provides scholarships for masters and PhD levels. bni Haldun Social Sciences Graduate Scholarship Program is available for non-Turkish nationals from all countries. Ali Kuu Science and Technology Graduate Scholarship Ali Kuu Science and Technology Graduate Scholarship is designed for students who are willing to study at the fields of science and technology. This program provides scholarships for masters and PhD levels. Ali Kuu Science and Technology Graduate Scholarship program is available for nonTurkish nationals from all countries.
III. Branch Scholarships

bni Sina Medical Sciences Scholarship Program bni Sina Medical Sciences Scholarship program includes the fields of medicine, dentistry, pharmaceutics, nursing and veterinary medicine. This program provides scholarships for vocational schools, undergraduate, masters and PhD levels. bni Sina Medical Sciences Scholarship program is available for non-Turkish nationals from all countries.

Islamic Studies Scholarship Program Islamic Studies Scholarship program includes the fields of religious studies. This program provides scholarships for undergraduate, masters and PhD levels. Islamic Studies Scholarship Program is available for non-Turkish nationals from all countries. Yunus Emre Turkish Language Scholarship Program Yunus Emre Turkish Language Scholarship program is designed for students who are willing to study Turkish Language. This program provides scholarships for undergraduate, masters and PhD levels. Yunus Emre Turkish Language Scholarship Program is available for non-Turkish nationals from all countries.
IV. Short Term Scholarships

Ahilik Vocational Training Scholarship Ahilik Vocational Training Scholarship includes 2 year programs. This program provides scholarships for vocational schools. Ahilik Vocational Training Scholarship Program is available for non-Turkish nationals from all countries. Research Scholarships Scholarship program is designed for student at Ph.D. Level and available for non-Turkish nationals from all countries. Candidates must have acceptance from any university in Trkiye and fulfill the language criteria of that university. Success Scholarship Program Success Scholarship program is designed for students who are currently studying in university in Trkiye on their own expenses without any scholarship. Application criteria and process will be announced every year by a commission. Support Scholarship Program Scholarship program is designed for students who are currently studying in university in Trkiye on their own expenses without any scholarship and need economic support. Application criteria and process will be announced every year by a commission.

Enter your name, middle name (if available) and surname written in your passport or ID by using English letters (Latin). Those who do not have official surname can enter family name as surname. Select country of your nationality. You can not change the country you selected here in the application system. Select your sex. Enter your date of birth in the form of date/ month/year as in your passport/ID or birth certificate. Enter an active e-mail address. This email address will be your username. Enter the same email address again carefully. Choose a password that you want to use to enter application system. Password has to be at least 6 characters. Enter the same password again. Dont forget to note this password.

Application Conditions
(!) Documents related with your education will be asked in the application system. Having these documents in scanned version will help you to accelerate your application process. Before you start to application process, you must read and accept application terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are stringent.
Application Level
Choose the academic level you want scholarship.
(!) Trkiye Scholarships are given at undergraduate, masters and Ph.D. Levels. For undergraduate and associate degree candidates must be graduated or are likely to graduate from high schools and their equivalents to that of Trkiyes in the present academic year. For masters degree candidates, candidates must be graduated or are likely to graduate from an undergraduate institution equivalent to that of Trkiyes in the present academic year. For Ph.D. candidates, candidates must be graduated or are likely to graduate from a postgraduate institution equivalent to that of Trkiyes in the present academic year.

Choose the country we can contact you from pop-up menu. If there are states of regions in your country choose it from pop-up menu. If there is no state or region leave it blank. Write your complete address information in the form as post code/district/street/apartment or house number. Enter your communication information as shown below.
If your residence information is same with your communication choose same option. If it is different you can write your information.
Enter a person and his/her communication information in case of emergency and fail to reach you.

Education Information (Undergraduate and Postgraduate)

You need to enter information of last two educational level of yours in this part. These levels will come automatically. Level of Education: At the top of the page, you will be asked to select your educational level you are graduated or likely to graduate. Example: For a Ph.D candidate, masters and undergraduate information will be asked. At masters degree applicants, subject of thesis needed to be written. State of Education: Select the option suitable for you. If you have not graduted yet select Continuing option.
If your faculty and university is not in the list, choose other option and write your university /faculty /institute into new box.
Select a suitable field of study from pop-up list designed by International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED). You can reach related table by click on Help link.
Grade System: You will see grade systems of your country from pop-up menu. Select proper grade system and enter your grade. If you are still studying at the time of application, enter aritmetic average of all your lessons.
WARNINGS:
(!) If you have completed your education in a different country than your country of nationality, enter that country. (!) If your grading system is not in the pop-up menu, choose a grading system similiar to your country. (!) Choose an equivalent option to the field you mentioned in Education area from the pop-up menu. Option you choose will be considered by the system and appropriate scholarships will be listed for you.

Education Information (High School)

Level of Education: At the top of the page, you will be asked to select level of education you are graduated or likely to graduate. Example: For a masters candidate, highschool and undergraduate information will be asked. State of Education: Select the option suitable for you. If you have not graduted yet select Continuing option.
If your school is not in the list, choose other option and write your school into new box.
You need to select suitable field of study according to your school option. If you select vocational education, types of vocational education will appear in the list. If you choose General High School: quantitative, linguistic, Mathematics-Literature and Language will appear in the list.
Quantitative: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics weighted programs. Mathematics-Literature: Mathematics, Geometry, language and literaure weighted programs. Linguistic: Language and Literature, History, Geography and Philosophy weighted programs. Language: Language and Literature and foreign langauges weighted programs.
Grade System: You will see grade systems of your country from pop-up menu. Select proper grade system and enter your grade.

International Exams
If you have any international exam at undergraduate or postgraduate level, please enter here. Candidates who have completed their undergraudate or postgraduate education need to enter ALES score here.

Language Information
Mother Tongue: Select the language that you learned from your parents and spoken at ho me. Official Language in Your Country: If there is an offical languge that you spoke please enter here.

Scholarship Preference
Scholarship programs will appear first when you start your application. 5 programs has opened at Masters andPh.D. Level. These are:
For physical Sciences, informatics and engineering field candidates : Ali Kuu Science and Technology Scholarship For Social Sciences field candidates Ibni Haldun Social Sciences Scholarship For medical sciences candidates Ibni Sina Medical Sciences Scholarship. For Islamic Theology Candidates Islamic Theology Scholarship For Turkish Language and Literature Candidates Yunus Emre Turkish Language Scholarship.
Candidates can schoose suitable scholarship program for their academic background and continue preferences page. Candidates can only choose one program. For that reason go to Find Scholarship to find most suitable scholarship programs for yourself.
Ph.D candidates must choose at least one, master candidates must choose at least 3 university/department. You can choose same deparments in different universities.
You can select 12 university/department at most. First you must choose department and then university. If there are special conditions for the departments you wish to study, It will appear under selections. Make your choices considering these conditions.
WARNINGS:
(!) You need to provide valid documents for speacial conditions if you are invited to the interview. (!) If you dont meet the speacial conditions of the department and university you apply you can lose your scholarship during enrollment period.

You need to upload all documents that you entered at your application. Each of your document should not be more than 2 MB. If your document is bigger than 2 MB, use document minimization programs.
Documents you upload should be in one of these formats: JPEG PDF TIF GIF
Each of your document should not be more than 2 MB and in total 20 MB. If your document is bigger than 2 MB, use document minimization programs.
Documents obligatory to upload: ID document that you chose as ID card. Diploma or Student Ctertificate Transcript (academic record) If you entered information in: Language test scores, National and International Exam Certificates and other documents that you entered.
