1.0 Introduction
Dominos pizza is founded in 1960 and just one store in the United States. Gradually, it becomes international market. Each day, more than 1 million customers enjoy hot, delicious Dominos Pizza products on every inhabited continent on Earth. Dominos pizza opens its 9000 th store worldwide since 2010. Dominos Pizza set up two visions which are been number one in Pizza and number one in people. My research is depending on the situation of Dominos Pizza which located Northland, Wellington. There are 15 staff work

2.0 Finding
2.1 Purpose of Management in Dominos Pizza
The purpose of dominos pizza organisational management sale production and achieve the goals. It can be divided into three aspects.

2.1.1Planning
In order to reach Dominos pizza vision, they consider some way to achieve the target. They tell every staff treat people as youd like to be treated; they keep learning and always produce Pizza with fresh taste and they pay more attention on nutrition in order to make their Pizza more health

2.1.2 Organizing
Organizing can help managers to allocate task and timetable arrange. For example, Dominos pizza manager needs to organize reasonably timetable. Normally, the store opens from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm every day. They only need 2 to 3 staff from 10:30am to 5:30pm because they would not receive much order during this period. However, during busy time, from 5:30pm to 8:30pm they need to 7 to 9 staff, especially in weekend. Furthermore, managers need to allocate how many people cook and which part of staff do service such as answering telephone, cashier and delivery.

2.1.3 Leading
Managers should give direction, communication and encouraging emotion to staff. For example, manager will organize a meeting what is evaluate the performance by all staff every few weeks, and give appropriate rewarding and encouragement depend on how good they were. Otherwise, manager also needs to monitor staffs emotion in order to make them decrease the stress, keep good attitude with customers and high quality of pizza.

2.2 Roles of Management in Dominos Pizza


There are three generic roles: interpersonal, information and decisional

2.2.1 Leader
For Dominos Pizza, leaders are indispensable. They need a leader to communicate with customer, training staff and encourage subordinates. For instance, leaders will training new staff how to make a Pizza and get order, even how to communicate with customers. On another hand, a leader will not only been a manager title, even a staff also can have the leadership. Dominos Pizza is teamwork, everyone has their duty, and a leader has responsibility to make them cooperation each other to face different challenge.

2.2.2 Monitor
Monitor need to seek information and supervising. For example soldiering and accountant. 2.2.2.1 Soldiering Worker soldiering refers to the practice of purposely stalling or slowing down work by the workers. Taylor believed that the objective of workers when they stalled was to keep "their employers ignorant of how fast work can be done. It is a serious problem by every organization. Stress, emotion, even environment will cause soldiering phenomenon. A task can be finished in 2 minutes, but staff spends double or triple time to complicate the task. It will reduce all efficiency in organization, and bring negative impact into team. For example, Dominos Pizza promises all customers the Pizza which they provide will be fresh and hot. If one delivers who has soldiering phenomenon, he cannot delivery on time; the chain reaction is they may delay all of order. It will influence the sales and they may receive many complain by customer.

2.2.2.2 Accountancy Manager has responsibility to monitor the accountancy every day. How much sales, how many label cost, especially labour cost, it will influence the profit in Dominos Pizza, that is why they arrange different timetable during different period.

2.2.3 Resource allocator


Resource allocator distributes various kinds of resource, such as human resource, equipment and material. There are lots of items they should consider, allocate materials such as cheese, meat, vegetables, seafood and dough, because they need to control the waste. Organize the timetable during different period in order to reduce the labour cost.

2.2.4 Negotiator
It is the function of negotiator when an organization faced difficulties, the negotiator can deal with it. From my research, Dominos Pizza always receive many complains with different reasons which include staff attitude is impolite or delivery is late. The duty of negotiator is use their communicate skill to conciliate and deal with the issue.

2.3 Time and motion studies in Dominos Pizza


Actually, Time and motion study combining from Time study and Motion study, time study develop in the direction of establishing standard times, while motion study evolved into a technique for improving work method. Time and Motion studies have to be used together in order to achieve rational and reasonable results. Dominos Pizza has division of labor. Although, they request all staff must cooperate, it is teamwork, but, everyone has their own duty. The person who made pizza cannot allow answering the phone or touching the money, and the delivery should not able to touch any food. As we know, Dominos Pizza keep creating different tasting of pizza, but, they cannot spend more time on

training staff to, however, every step of cook would be stuck on operation table in order to help staff make right pizza.

2.4 Efficiency and effectiveness in Dominos Pizza


Organizational effectiveness is about each individual doing everything they know how to do and doing it well; organizational efficiency is the capacity of an organization to produce the desired results with a minimum expenditure of energy, time, money, and human and material resources

2.4.1 Efficiency
Dominos Pizza want to be the number one in Pizza and People, in order to reach the targets, they need sold more pizza and obtain more customers. In Dominos Pizza website, they set up a mission on it which is selling more pizza, have more fun. To achieve this goal, the organization has to forces on efficiency of teamwork, everyone need to play their roles well for the purpose of increase the efficiency.

2.4.2 Effectiveness
Some years ago, Dominos Pizza only have 8-10 kinds of pizza, they decided to provide more kinds of choice to gain more customers. Nowadays, they have more than 20 kind of pizza for customers, and they also provide designa which means customers can make their own pizza, they can choose which material they prefer, and Domino will make it for them.

3.0 Conclusion
With high efficiency management in Dominos Pizza, they pioneered the pizza delivery business as a powerful global brand. Dominos Pizza operates in over 60 countries because their leadership team has a track record of success.
