An exceptional professor leaving Crown College

ST.BONIFACIUS, Minn. Faculty, students and staff feel very unhappy as they need to face the absence of a great professor for next semester. They have found in Prof. Williams Allen not just an excellent teacher but a great friend, co-worker, and person. Allen is leaving a pronounced legacy at Crown as he has significantly contributed for the growth of the Communication Department and overall, the biggest impact he has had is on the students. Students have learned from him technically inside the classroom and life lessons from him in the hallways, or in his office. He has shown to all Crown Community what it means to weave your faith into a profession (media/film/advertising) that does not always value faith. William is a great person, his creativity and passion for his craft and his students i s inspiring. It has been a pleasure to be able to say he is a co-worker of mine. I have learned from him the importance to grow in what it is you love to do and surround yourself with people who are passionate about similar things, said Sara Walz, production specialist and staff of Crown College.

Walz also mentioned that Allen has been an invaluable addition to Crown's make-up and that they are losing someone great. She also stated that Allen seems to be a trend with creative minds that spurs them on to make changes to keep things fresh; she thinks it is in the DNA of creative, and his ability to bring things all together. She also added that Allen will always be in the minds and hearts of all who had the privilege to meet him and learned of him. Jake Watenful, an alumni student and staff of Crown in social media and marketing, restated that getting to know Allen has been one of the best experiences of his life. According to him Allen is an amazing mentor, teacher, friend and is a master- mind. He also shared that through Allen he has learned to have balance in life, understand the importance of people and also being joyful in the Lord. Allen has been a profound impact to Crown for he is always pursing excellence in technology and relationships, with a well-rounded character and balance. Crown is losing a huge potential communicator in video production, graphic design, audio and much more. He brings media all together with the purpose to glorify God. He is a great mentor, friend and person. He is a fantastic guy, Watenful said. For students, faculty and staff is a big loose having to let Allen Williams to go to his next step in life because he has been a huge impact in their professional and personal lives. He is an encourager and innovator. Allen has enjoyed collaborating with his talents to make a change in people lives. All Crown Community will not forget what outstanding contributions he has brought to this institution. They will always be praying for him and are excited for what God will continue doing in his life.
