What do Kofi Annan, Diane von Furstenberg, John Elway and Cate Blanchett have in common, aside from the obvious name recognition? At one time, the terms supply and demand whipped them all into frenzies because each majored in economics at their respective universities. Undecided students may be leery about giving economics a chance especially if they are not math people but the truth is a degree in economics can open many doors after collegedoors that dont require complex algorithms and lengthy equations to access.
